It sounds like it works like neem oil but with rosmaric acid. Only it seems more like it repels them, like neem, but doesn't kill them. Thanks guys Anyone use SNS 209?
nope, never seen it. looks fairly safe, but it says it takes up to a week to see any results. and it's systemic. you add it to the plants water and it gets spread through the whole plant. doesn't say how long it takes to break down, so it could still be present during flower, which means you could be smoking it. no idea if that's good or bad, but i tend to default to bad until proven otherwise....
if you use that,i'd be damned sure to quit at least two weeks before you intend to flip it to flower, that should give it three weeks to a month before flowers actually start to form up.
It would give your buds that taste of fresh rosemary!nope, never seen it. looks fairly safe, but it says it takes up to a week to see any results. and it's systemic. you add it to the plants water and it gets spread through the whole plant. doesn't say how long it takes to break down, so it could still be present during flower, which means you could be smoking it. no idea if that's good or bad, but i tend to default to bad until proven otherwise....

nothing. they really don't know how some pesticides will effect people if the residue is burned and inhaled. they only test pesticides that are intended for tobacco that way, and chances are you aren't going to be buying barrels of industrial strength tobacco pesticides. What if anything do you guys on flowering buds even as a preventative that's safe for the final product???
I'd just pull if they got infested in late flowering. The risk of smoking something; that might be deemed safe for consumption on food but when burned could be something completely different is one I won't take. What if anything do you guys on flowering buds even as a preventative that's safe for the final product???
You are right about cleaning new plants. The only times I ever got mites (twice) is when I brought in clones.nothing. they really don't know how some pesticides will effect people if the residue is burned and inhaled. they only test pesticides that are intended for tobacco that way, and chances are you aren't going to be buying barrels of industrial strength tobacco pesticides.
so i just really try to get them healthy before i flip, and make sure any new plant that gets brought in is clean before i expose the other plants to it.
nothing kill while in veg or smoke the borg iam sure I have smoked worseWhat if anything do you guys on flowering buds even as a preventative that's safe for the final product???
Ahh that brings me back too the '70s ...nothing kill while in veg or smoke the borg iam sure I have smoked worse
When up to Lowes cause I couldn't wait. Got myself some Captain Jacks with your Spinosad. Gonna douse and keep out side till I feel safe about ityeah, those look like mites, little darker than the kind i see around here, but basically the same.
you have several alternatives, depending on how "organic" you want to be.
i'm a fan of Spinosad pesticide, very safe, very effective, short half life, not too expensive.
pyrethins are a little more harsh, but still one of the safer things to use.
you can try neem oil, azamax, rosemary oil, home made hot sauce thinned down so it's sprayable......lot's of people use different methods and claim success.
as long as the plant hasn't started to flower yet, i'd stick with Spinosad
I cant hardly seem them with naked eye. I found on a couple leaves looking under scope, so to me their on every leaf and crawling all over me at the moment. lolYou don't say how wide spread they are, but if they only appear on1 , leaf wouldn't U just remove that leaf
