black star chrome 180w fsf

Hi, new to the game and cant decide what to get but I come across two of the above lights to accommodate a 4x4 tent. They are secondhand and for both guy is asking £270. Are they worth the money? Thanks

360w are no way enough for a 4x4

You would really need 4 of those lights. You see, buying the el-cheepo lights don't save any money. You better off going with a 600W MH/HPS combo.

Are you going to run your lights of batteries at night or running them while you charge, daytime? One user here on RIU runs his flower at 8-9 hours to not drain batteries. Flower cycle was significantly shorter.

It will be predominantly at daytime but I think with my solar system I should be good at night time as well. Was his yield smaller as well because of a shorter flowering cycle?

Mostly the same, i ihink his handle was torontoke. Search for 8 hour flowering on the forum or similar.
And +1 on getting intouch with diyled. The samsung strips he uses for light have been shown to be the most light / watt around. Forget about blue and red light, its 99.9999% bogus

Sounds reasonable, especially if its its built for you or very easy DIY. Hard to comment without any real idea what hes proposing but genrally his stuff are good.

The h350 isnt designed for a 4x4. It would lack light in the edges and you need more wattage.

Check out our quantum board section. We will have them in stock in a couple of weeks.

Good quality leds are not cheap. But you get what you pay for.
