You'll be happy for the change.
It was a fun project I'm sure, and I've done stuff a lot like what you did (I spent around 6 months on a project much like yours actually) but if it's your main thing an not a fun side project, you'll be best off with this change. Congrats bro!

About a month left to go, so in that time I'm getting my hydro and light set up. The hydro will give me another foot of height. Then I'll change up the ventilation to accommodate the vented hood.
This grow will continue till they are done. When they get the chop, that's when I'll change everything.
I'm also going hydro for veg, similar type of system. I'm going to run t5's over there.

Well, I chopped them early. They still had three to four weeks to go, but I'm ready to put in my hydro and 1000w, so out they went. I lost two to being males.

I agree with this. If the OP had asked for input many of us could have given him good advise on how to do exactly what he is wanting to do while continuing these plants.... those were so small they would have been easy to finish out while starting the next run. Oh well. I can respect the desire to start fresh an get the next run rolling. Props on making the choice OP even if I dont agree 100% with it. It's about the best move honestly if you dont know some simi advanced tricks.

I'd have a height issue with the 1000w, and this was bag seed. I could have done some diagonal growing and more lst, but,...meh.
Among various threads this grow has been a project, more so for the box. This light was just a stand in from the first post, and I really don't care about these plants.
I have complete control over temp and humidity now. The box can successfully run 70f+ temps all day, and I can get RH to 40% if I want. The 1000w will be on a vented hood, but that radiant heat would scorch these in these pots. The box test was done on bag seed and this light. There's no arguing that this light was a free air heater, so it looks like heat isn't going to be an issue in the future. I ran these at 82f because I read that they like it under led somewhere.
It was my wife that ended up convincing me to chop them, lol. So now I'm ready to get the real girls vegging while I get the hydro and light set up in this room. I've got a lot of work to do on this hydro setup. The plants are going to be 5" off the floor (netpot) for the 1000w. In the time that I'm getting that together and going, the veg plants will be almost ready to go in.
