First grow, I could use some input.

Pure coco grow. 2 plants Skywalker kush from DNA genetics. 2lx2wx6h tent. Migro 100 light.
Always PH'd to 5.5 - 6.0 watered every 2-4 days depending how fast the coco dried out and increasing the nutes as the plants got bigger. They are taking in about 1.6/1.7 EC 770-790 ppm right now and looking happy as far as I can see.

Nutes - H&G - Coco A+B, Algen, roots excel, amino
- botanicare - CalMag

After second week flower I will cut out the roots excel and maybe the algen too. I can't remember what the guy at the store told me. I'm going to pay him a visit to pick up some H&G Bud XL ( to use probably during weeks 3-6 or 4-7 once the buds start pumping resin )

Amino I'm told to use up to week 5ish and I'm not sure if I cut the CalMag after week 2 or use it straight through until flush. Considering I am growing in pure coco I see some posts about using it straight through. Thoughts on this to other pure coco growers?

During the last 2 weeks of flower is the flush but I still PH my water to 5.5-6.0 or just feed tap or spring?

Veg went perfectly. Swapped to 12/12 last sat. The light ballast has a dimmer that I've kept it a little over middle from low to high. Decided that the girls are 12/12 now and I can crank it up to max because plants love light and more light is bigger better buds. A day or two later I discovered what light burn was... new leafs were yellow and I instantly turned it back to just over midway again.

My question is when should I turn the lights up if I should at all?
I read somewhere that moving the lights higher would be another solution but I feel I'm slowly running out of room and I don't want light burn once the buds start to come.

Any tips?

Will post pictures in an hour when the girls wake up.

That light is 107 watts from the wall and did a nice job in veg but I don't think it will be enough for flower. IDK I'll leave that to the LED Guru's.
You described light burn as the new leaves becoming yellow. That doesn't sound like light burn IMO. Just my 2 c.
Nice plants!
Good Luck!

They were VERY yellow not just the new leaves but the larger ones too started turning and then when I turned it down they looked healthy again. Idk I'm just trying to read the plant.

I grow in coco/perlite and I water/feed daily.

I don't know what the Amino is, I run GH Flora nutes. I run Ca/Mg through my entire grow. I drop Si around 4-5 weeks of flower after stretch. I feed veg mix for the first 2 weeks of flower to reduce stretch.

Also do NOT starve your plants during their final 2 weeks of flower when they are bulking up. In hydro you need to flush your plants with a good plain watering for one day every 2 weeks to decrease salt build up when you are feeding them heavily. But never starve them for 2 weeks and throw away yield.

I use 1000 HPS in flower so I can't really help on light other than to say be ready to trim their underskirt so you don't get a lot of popcorn that will detract from the main cola(s) because of lack of light penetration.

You mention your plants going a bit yellow with more light, try upping your TDS (EC). Your nutrients have to keep up with the plants demand and they burn more nutrients with more light. Light burn areas get 'crispy' and brown

Good luck, your plants look great.
