The northern half of the state has had it bad with the Santa Rosa fire last year and now the Carr fire up there now.

I wouldn't know, I'm in Socal far away from all that, but I'm sure there have been some losses. Honestly though, what's a weed crop if you get out alive, ya know? Some people haven't been so lucky.

Haven't seen the news lately, people have been killed? Yeah I agree, life is much more important than weed, no comparison...

Yeah. 7 so far. 2 firefighters, an old lady and her two grandkids, one other (not sure of details) and now a PG&E employee. It's fucking sad man.

And some of those fires were set.
Yeah, the Cranston fire near me in Socal was arson. Fortunately no loss of life in that one. The Carr fire up in Redding, it's being said, was the result of a flat tire and resulting sparks from the rim hitting asphalt...what a clusterfuck.

All because of the regulation of the water supply like they always do...

There's always some lunatic starting fires. The smoke has been pretty bad here for the past week. But it seems to be lifting.

In laws entire neighborhood burned down. Their house and 2 others were the only left standing. The old man is always watering the yard. Like too much. We make fun of him but pretty sure it helped save the place. I doubt the weed economy will be affected at all. There is so much of it here and this year now that it's legal everybody has a few plants in the backyard.
