Is it worth buying bubble hash bags if I'm running only a oz of trim? Or should I go another route? Thanks for the input.

I like dry seive
I grow certain plants just for hash and edibles,
Ill chop the plants, pull all the laeves off and hang dry, when they ate dry i put in a tarp and give a mellow shake every couple days for 2 months, when imabout to collect kief i shake the plants in the tarp for about 10 minutes, scrape the lief off the tatp and run through a 120 micron silk screen, great for making pure dry seive hash
I grind up the buds and make butter, oil and edibles

Your yield will be rather low for the amount of work youll have to do with bubble hash. Most people ive seen doing it are using pounds at a time.

This is one of the best videos ive seen on the process. notice how he rinses and agitates the bags.

Thanks for the input, I live where growing meds are still frowned upon so I just have a 3to4 plant closet grow. The quality is great just not alot of it. That's why I wanting to know if it was worth it with such a small amount. I just don't want to throw the trim away, the're covered in trics. I'd love to get what I can out of it, just wasn't sure it would be worth getting bags for..

Id just use a solvent and extract it. Dispensaries here do whole plant and trim runs of wax and shatter.
It wont be the highest quality, but itll still get the job done for personal use or cooking.

not to steal OPs thread but is it also worth getting brand name bubble bags vs the other versions out there? And if the other versions are worth it... which brands sooooo many people trying to make an easy buck i don't want to go buy something that is the equivalent to a mars light lol but also don't want to waste money on something for a "bubble man" sticker (not knocking the guy just the price tag lol)

Yes it is worth using the "the bubble bag guy" brand. A bit more in price but the quality is better. I have bought the cheap ones before, the ended up falling apart in one season after repeated use. I use the full mesh bags. I am planing on getting a mini washer this year.

I bought some cheaper ones years ago and they have lasted me forever... now how much product I have lost? I have no idea to that but I don't know paying 145 for a 5 gallon 4 bag kit seems a bit much.. maybe I am a cheap ass but i would rather put that towards so new cobs or gear lol

I am glad it worked out, going cheap is always gamble. The prices of "pot" accessories has fluctuated over the recent years.

I got a sheet of silk screen material of a certain micro from an art supply store. . Used a potato salad tub from costco, elastic bands and the lid

Was cheap and worked better than my 1 gallon bubble bags.

But i got a rosin press and a butter machine now so i wont be shaking anything.

Dulytech. It wasnt cheap but i listened to those that advised.

Cost me about 600 cdn delivered all in. Made in usa and it is quality.

When my rhinos are ready i will.learn how to use.it better but i got a couple grams of rosin from my last train wreck. Wow is that nice. And tasty. And the pressed waste can go in the butter machine. Almost zero waste.
