Throughout the years I’ve seen large grows start with the “no spray” mentality, problem is at 2000sqft canopy there will be bugs.............. Can’t just shut shop once thrips and mites take over...

I'd use safer's end all on the spidermites and root aphids. It is relatively safe for humans, or so I'm told.
I used Dr. Doom thrip killer in veg, blasted them 3 times in veg, no more thrips.
I have heard you can grow certain plants that deter bugs, and there are expensive predator mites too.

Most large grows will eventually split into multiple craft grows specializing in a particular strain or product, simply because most people are only going to buy NO SPRAY product. For the foreseeable future, unless people can be indoctrinated into buying poison laden shit.
