What yields can I expect for my set up?

Might be kind of a dumb question, but I'm pretty new and I'm looking to harvest around a half pound every two months or so as a perpetual grow. Can I expect that from my set up? Or I guess in a 4x2?

I am new to growing, got my third grow in flower. I have been using a 2x2x4 with a 300w viparspectra. Need less to say, I was very disappointed in my first couple grows as far as bud production.

I just bought a 4x2x6 tent along with a 300w samsung strip led, can I expect to harvest a half pound with this set up? Say doing 3 plants in 3gal pots or two plants in 5gal pots with a scrog?

I got a couple plants going in there right now, all about 2-3 weeks old.

1x Black Sugar Fem > seedsman
1x Girl Scout Cookies Auto > Fastbuds

I plan on growing all 3 photos in my 4x2 in 3gal or maybe 5gal pots in Happy Frog soil. I am using MegaCrop & Bud Explosion from GreenLeafNutrients if that information helps at all?

If everything went right and its actually 300w, you might potentially get a half pound in that setup.

But theres way to many variables to count. If you get an ounce per plant be happy, it all comes easier with experience

So I'm a total newbie and my advice would be based on what I've read/heard, though I do have a 600w Viperspectra in a 2x4x6.....

Viparspectra'sare apparently decent veg light but awful for flowering, so I'd use that in your 2x2 purely as a veg tent then use your 2x4x6 as the flower tent which should be good for rotating between as plants double size in flower your veg tent would be 4 feet Sq and your flowers tent 8 feet Sq.

That 300w Samsung will be way better for flowering especially if its a true 300w draw. You might want to make sure the fixture will cover the footprint of your canopy.

The set up has the potential to get more than half a pound per run. But yield comes with experience and healthy plants trained to fill your space with environment kept sweet.

Timing is going to be the difficult thing with only 2x2 to veg while your other tent flowers. You would be better with two 2x4s if you want to turn that around every 8 week and I would say its more likely that your looking at 9-10 with chopping and drying.
One tent vegging two-three plants while one tent flowers.

Thanks yall and yes it is a true 300w pull. I ordered it from @nfhiggs so you know it's legit lol.

Here it is... https://www.omegalight.net/product-page/300wx8

And it's designed is made to fill a 4x2 space exactly, so I got that on lock.

And that's exactly what I plan on doing, using the 2x2x4 for a veg tent with the viparspectra. Might toss an auto in there as well here and there for shits and giggles.

Later down the road I can upgrade and invest into more, but also I have both my tents in my bedroom lmao. I could fit another 4x2 in here but I'd have to ditch the 2x2.

Nice light dude. And the price is on point

Thanks for the link and ideas haha
Yeah dude nfhiggs is the man, awesome lights at a price you can't beat. I almost ordered a 135w Qb288 v2 for $225.

But I found out this awesome guy here on RIU builds/sells them at a price no one can really beat.

But he had a 300w for $200, can't go wrong for the same exact light and diodes. Well, I lie not diodes because the v2 has the 301s not the 561s like my strip or v1 has. But still...

135w vs 300w of pretty much the same light for the same price? Yeah lol.

I'm looking at higgs stuff now too, but I'd look at a 4x qb120's diy fixture to compare to, rather than qb288's. Much more in line price/coverage wise.

250ish watt max for around $230 usd shipped. Still a max output/diode discrepency, but still great 2x4 coverage. Slightly better warrenty with hlg stuff but I'm sure higgs customer service is great.

Maybe I'll get both when I can.
