Currently running 600w hps
8inch inline fan pulling air into attick
Xxl reflector
Sealed room co2 inriched i run around 2k ppm and about 1500 i obviously am leaking some were so co2 drops when timer shuts down
I am looking for lighting 600w equivalnt or a lil more but something with far less heat so hopefully wont have to vent. NOT LOOKING TO START A WAR OVER LED JUST WONDERING HOW MUCH LESS HEAT LEC OR LED IS COMPARED TO THE HPS

I got a 135w quantum board that replaces my 250w HID lights almost perfectly, and reduced temp by almost 10°
I'm not sure which one to get to replace your 600w but it's a really interesting option to look into I think

Are you using an air cooled reflector? They're game changers when properly set up.

To match your 600W HPS, I think it would take roughly 400-450 watts of LED, so that's a lot less heat. (1W=3.4 BTU) BTW, dimming is common with LED and you can ramp up the power as plants progress from seedling to harvest. If you would like to post your tent dimensions, we can offer some specific suggestions.

I made my own light with Bridgelux EB-Series strips. There's a lot of overpriced crap in the LED grow market, so here's some good stuff.
