Anyone here tried turkey manure? I can get it easily and I’ve heard its pretty hot.

I searched GC forums for peer reviews/exp. with it, but my searches didn’t find much..

I'm taking proactive measures against budworms this year. I figure if I can keep the moths out, I can avoid any budworms or having to use BT. This is a superfine mesh bugscreen, fine enough to keep mosquitos out...those moths don't stand a chance. Hopefully it works. I'll still be checking routinely for caterpillar eggs and damage to buds.

I got a really late start this year. I didnt think I was gonna be around much for this grow season.
The largest ones were put out July 6th at about a foot tall. The smaller pots are all clones from the larger ones.
These are Green point seeds, GG#4 is the big one on the left and the middle larger one is Blizzard Bush that is a very Indica leaning pheno. I'm excited to try them both. I have a few LSD seedlings mixed in on the bottom right, those are good producers but they were started very late, seedlings popped July 6th.
They are in a hoop house that i built, theres no end walls yet but there will be some soon. And I'll probably continue through the winter if i can keep it warm enough in there.

I'm still planting {here in NW Florida}. I put 30 seeds in cups this morning. I hope they are in the barn by Thanksgiving.

I just popped some seeds into coco starter pucks yesterday. I should be looking at 60-70 day finishes, so as long as they transition by the first week of October, I should be ok for an early December harvest...I might be cutting it a bit close, but we'll see. :-?

Thanksgiving is the earliest I could expect. If they flower at 5 weeks and have a fast 9 weeks of flower, that would be the week after Thanksgiving. The Chicken Stink's will go a little longer.

If this year is at all like last year, I should be able to count on the weather holding until the third week of December even up to Christmas week. Last December, it was in the 70's and 80's almost all month long.

I've grown through the winter the last two years. Two years ago I had two nights down to 25F in January. Caused some damage, but didn't kill anything. This past January I had a week in the 20's with two nights down to 16F. That killed everything. I'm hoping last year was the outlier, not the year before.
