I've grown through the winter the last two years. Two years ago I had two nights down to 25F in January. Caused some damage, but didn't kill anything. This past January I had a week in the 20's with two nights down to 16F. That killed everything. I'm hoping last year was the outlier, not the year before.
I tried a winter grow last year, but I planted too late. Seeds were started on new year's day, and flowering didn't start until March. What cold we had really screwed things up, for a couple weeks I would cover the plants with a tarp and put a heat lamp in with them. All in all, it wasn't worth the extra effort, especially when I only had one female out of 6 plants that made it to flowering

My first year I popped seeds on December first. I ran into some reveg issues before they were finished. But all in all, I judged that crop as a success. I made lots of good crosses. Last year wasn't worth the effort. I ended up with zero smokable bud.

Well, kind of, sort of, but not really. One of the Sleepy Ass Blues seeds popped in February, and I was able to make seeds from it. Also had two Mystery Plants. I made seeds with one of them too. Not too much smoke, but happy for both new strains.

Nice job! You got some rocklock going too? Good to know.... I'm growing that as well
Never grew it before or tried it. In fact almost everything I've read about it says it's for indoor only. :)
Smoke was nice can be a bit on the leafy side to trim but I thought the taste n smell after a cure was really smooth and good
I gifted the seed to mate who grew it for 3lb he got....

Right on. So far it loves to be outside. We'll see if it molds up or something in this northern climate.. I'll keep ya posted, cheesehead. :)

Mine is doing awesome so far. Both parents do well outdoors so Idk what all the talk is about. If you Google rock lock outdoor grow almost all sites will say it doesn't do well outdoors ...or just plain was bred for indoor growing only. So we shall see. So far mine is thick and lush and amazing

Been awhile for me folks so ....howdy again. Got a big girl that is supposedly the actual put you down in 1 or 2 hits G13. Been a crazy year with all the rain and almost flooded out completely a couple different time, that led to a rough bit with bugs as well but the last month everythings dried up nicely and growth is pretty much exploding.

Shes about 10 feet tall and making me anxious to sample the results already 819.jpg
