His disapproval ratings are notably high while his approval ratings look OK compared to some others. Bush jr was riding ratings that jumped right after 9/11.

The disapproval ratings which are higher than other recent presidents is entirely driven by independents and Democrats who almost universally disapprove of him. Those that read tea leaves like this for a living say this indicates an energize opposition that will show up in November to voice their disapproval.

Yeah, something went wrong with white people about the time the Constitution was signed and we never recovered from it. 42% of all people polled and almost all of them are white. It means that most of the white people you encounter in daily life are Trump supporters -- about 60% are anyway.

i have nothing against the constitution... but things could definitely be amended. the constitution is what made us what we are. look at it how ya want, but we still have the most rights and most liberties. there most definitely is a few things we could update though

I was referring to slavery. My meaning was: we embedded slavery and along with it entitled status of white men in our founding charter. The Civil War ended legalized chattel slavery but we continued on with entitled white status through Jim Crow and into today. Entitled white status is a tangible benefit that Trumpers are fighting for, not whatever it is that the right wing issue dujour promotes. Higher wages, better jobs, less hassle by police, everything and it's just given due to skin color. It's given free to almost all people with white skin. White trash in the south are perhaps an exception.

It's going to take more than legislative changes now.

Demographics studies show hope that in about 15 years vile racism associated with white entitlement in the US might finally start to die out. The decline has already started which is why things are so hyper-charged and election results are so dynamic.
