New grow light

I have used Mars ProII 320 for several years and very satisfied with it.I think you need consider draw power, coverage, PAR and spectrum of leds. What's more warranty is very very important. Led lights are very heavy, shipping fee is a problem when you send light to repair, so care more for warranty details.

If you get quality LEDs you shouldnt need to worry about repairing them. while I understand there are some always going to be some issues. Going with a company that is guaranteed to give you quality is the best choice.

I am new to led lights. After a quick research I have done I discover a new led light in industry. I want to buy it but doesn’t ship in Europe yet. Tell me your opinion about this light guys. This is emersongrow egx7. Thank you
For europians look at the Zeus boards(69€, kit with heatsink 99€) from LED-tech.de. They use Samsung LM301b top bins and you can expect the same efficiency as from Quantumboards v2. Zeus boards XT run completely without heatsinks(59°C at 3,5Amps, 109€) which means you can spend almost all the money on LED's. You can also get siutable drivers from them althrough you can get them cheaper from tme.eu.com.

If you are more interested in original Quantumboards there is a reseller in spain called todogrowled.com. As far as I know these boards are directly from HLG, no chinese fake boards.

https://www.todogrowled.com/gb/17-hlg-quantum-boards

4 Zeus boards XT and a HLG or ELG-480H-42A or B(11,4A and up to 13Amax.) would be up to 500-550w max. and is a perfect match for a 4x 4' area. 3-4 borads and a HLG-320H-42 is enough for 1m² or a 3x 3' area.

BTW,
red/blue(blurple) growlights are outdated for some reasons.
Plants also need some green light and therefor white lights(which is btw the only true full spectrum light) are much better for growing.
For lettuce and such small plants yes, because there is almost only a canopy to lite up but not for tall c3 plants, which use a lot of green in the lower areas below the canopy.
Only the canopy use lots of blue and red wavelength but the deeper you go the more green light is used to drive photosynthesis. Same like with trees.
The best thing you can do is to use efficient white light and if you want you can add more red, deep and far-red to optimize the spectrum. Zeus boards are part of a system and you can add different strips with Osram Oslon top bin diodes.(There is a nice little calculator tool) But these strips need their own driver and make the whole fixture much more expensive. It's really don't needed to add them because 3000-3500°k works very well as all in one spectrum also without additional red. I would recommend to watch a few Quantumboard related threads here in the LED section of the forum. Pretty sure you'll be impressed....and in most of the threads last years gen.1(LM561c) is used. You can expect even better results with LM301b on gen.2 boards.

But it's a US company and he's from europe.. Shipping and custom fees would be much higher(as we know, lol).
DIYLEDUK is also a reputable source for LED grow lights in europe and they ship from UK. Simple send him a pm at @diyled and he'll respond as soon as he can.
I thought those guys were European my apologies.

even the manufacturers hanging on to blurple have added more and more white diodes to their designs over the years

they can still pack a punch as blues are used sparingly and relatively efficient, and the newer reds are a lot more efficient than they used to be

I believe Amare Technologies has a euro distributor. He is a grower who began designing leds for growers. His spectral blends hves been copied by many. I have been using his lights for 5 years
