Harvest is sneaking up on me...advice appreciated!

I've been keeping a close eye on my SF plant as it's gone into week 9 of flower. I'm finding I have the opposite problem of most, and my patience is bridging into hesitation.

It had a really long veg, and everyone has always said "If you think it's done and have a doubt, wait a week". But I'm been taking samples ever few days and looking at them under a microscope, and I think my top most cola might be getting a bit toasty.

I have a good idea about what people have said to look for to harvest (mostly clody triches with about 30% amber give or take depending on preference). So here are some questions:

How much of the plant are you looking to have that ratio?
If one cola's triches are getting 'overcooked' faster than the others, do you chop then?
Are we looking for light or dark amber, is that a preference thing too?

I attached a few pics from the bud that's most mature. Input greatly appreciated!!

looks done imo. 1st and 3rd picture are almost all amber trics. that cola will probably just be the most couchlocky i'm sure the rest are too though. i would harvest man idk how you are so patient.

Are all of those pictures actual bud? Looks like small sugar leaves too me. They will have amber trichs before the plant is done.

Hahahaha it will be soon. I love couch lock so I'm going for as much as possible, I just dont wanna overdo it lol

Yup all those pics came from different spots on the same sample. Took the sample from the biggest/oldest flower, def actual bud. What makes it look like a sugar leaf?

Here are some pictures of the whole plant. I've been growing this girl for a LONG time - and I've had plenty of setbacks. So my timeline has been all off and I'm going off what intuition I have - i.e. none lmao

Thanks! Going to give the others a 24 hr dark period and chop em tomorrow (the others were lower and didnt have quite the same sheen so I opted to give them another day of light).

No rules saying you have to chop the whole plant. Clip whats done when its done.
Yeah, as I'm watching more and more videos I'm seeing better examples closer to my own plant. It gets confusing when you're comparing an LST plant with a wide canopy to one that was left to grow (more or less) one main cola. I appreciate the tip, makes me feel a lot better about slowing down. Hated the idea of crunching stuff into a work night and not giving it its due attention haha

If im doing a strain for multiple runs i take braches off at different stages of trich development to see which high i prefer.
