See how happy they are I just love it when the girls are full of joy like this.
I started this grow 5 weeks ago with 10 unknown seeds. They vegged for 3 weeks until 5 nodes appeared and have been on flower cycle for 2 weeks. During the first 4 days of 12/12 4 boys were born and they were plucked. Within 3-4 more days the girls grew some preflowers, pretty ones too.
My grow cube is dinky (2ft by 2ft by 4 ft) and always has been, but by using rectangular recycling containers with holes drilled on the bottom I was able to squeeze more plants into the cube this time (usually only 4 fit). 2 plants per container with a plastic wall between the plants each having their own soil and food supply to feed from.
I added dolomite lime to my soil mix to maintain soil ph at 6.5-7.0. The light is a 400 watt hps which i used for veg as well. I began bloom and flower food at 1/3 strength the same day they were switched to 12/12 and increased doses until they were able to handle the full blast. The food they eat at full blast now is flora nova bloom 4-8-7(3 tsp per gal), roots organic hpk 0-5-4 (3tps per gal) and molasses (3tsp per gal). They eat and drink every 4-5 days or when ever the soil dries out.
The strains are unkown but when i rub the main stalk and then sniff my fingers a couple smell very skunky and the others smell somewhat citrus like with a hint of skunk, mmmmm. I have grown strains I knew like ruderalis (very consistant strain) and k2 (inconsistant strain, still an f2 hybrid)a few times but this one is a fun little mystery.
Btw the soil I used this time around is Black Gold npk is .5-0-0.
Let me know what ya'll think and any suggestions from the pros are welcome. Kathy
