so I just started to stress this plant to see what would happen. then the leaves started to curl up. there is also some white lines on the leaves that are curling. what do you think caused this? do you think i stressed it to much by pulling it down? would i be better off letting it grow normal?

I have a few other plants that seem to be doing great. I will say that i had to go on vacation last week and my brother didn't PH the water and some had nute block i think could this be a result from that? there are no crazy nute going to the plants right now just some kelp and grow big from fox farm im using 1/2 dose so i don't think its that.

here are some pics the first are the curling leaves.

they are way overwatered and the ph is prolly off as a mutherfucker causing nute lock in turn causing nute burn too. flush that shit, goto walmart buy a soil tester and water when the top of the soil is dry. good luck.

Yeah...... your nute burn is caused by pH-lockout. Do what he said... or just stop giving 'em nutes.

Thanks for the help guys the thing is i fixed the ph problem a few days ago I only water when needed so i was looking to see if the stress caused this. I have a few others that are doing great. I think you guys just jumped to quick and maybe didn't read the start would stress cause leaves to curl i am pulling this one down to see if it branches out. I always check PH in both water and soil both are where they should be. what cause whit lines on leaves i have looked in the guides and nothing is white most are yellow or brown.

im probly not gunna b much help but is ur lighting getin all of the plant cuz if its not able to get low enuf on the plant and penitrate the canopy then it may cauz sum of the coloration change just an idea

Hey E S i just read a few of your post now I'm not trying to start anything or say anyone is better then the next guy its that I'm not that confident in your advise. If you read my first line you would see that i know nute burn is cause by a low or high PH. and my nutes are low if at all so im not over feeding them.

my question was about stress and if it would cause this?

And why there are white lines on my leaves like a vain

my lights are all good i have 1000w hps and 8 200w cfl should get it good enough. thanks yungbud

my heat gets to around 83 if its hot outside maybe i had a hot day but my high temp only reads 83 with 63% humidity.

Anyone else got a clue?

ok so the stress may be slowing the growth but it shouldnt cause the veins to be white they should be a pale green color or off white but not paper white im not sure if its the top or under side of the leave that looks white cuz from what i c the top looks fine but if ur LST ur plants there shouldnt b any signs of nething other than slowed growth from recovery

thanks yungbud I didnt think LST would cause this but wanted to ask. you can kind of see it in a few of the pic but my iphone isnt the best camera. any other quick thoughts on what causes whit veins and curled up leaves?

well i would look at a def. cuz it would only seem logical after the stress factor so start lookin for signs of defs. there is a great forum on the main page undr plant problems and u could also look at ganjaguerrila.net its pretty detailed

Oh no! Don't let the aluminum foil scare you off. I'll be honest with you man. The only person who can accurately diagnose your plant disease is you. I'm not there 24/7 and I have no idea what you are doing to the plant.

I can say that leaves burn because they can't cool themselves properly. A plant that dark and dry lookin is getting too many nutes to have access to enough water to cool itself. It's classic symptoms my fiend. I'm talking cultivation 101 here.

You would be doing a great disservice to yourself and your plants by ignoring my advice. Just use water for a while until healthier new growth starts up.

hey E S I didnt want to start a rant on here I'm down to listen to you its that you didn't seem to read the first part on here when i said it was nute burn and it had a PH issue. the question was about LST and if it would cause funky leaves and white veins. but hey thanks man im not here do down anyone im here to read cool info and grow some cool plants thats all. thanks buddy Aloha

Nowhere in this first post do you say anything about nute burn so you can quit that right now. Your bro not pH'ing the water has nothing to do with the condition of the plant. The only damage done to leaves during LST is caused by you, otherwise they are unaffectted. Just give it water only once or twice before you start up on the nutes again and then go lighter on the more sensitive plants.

E S out!
