Hi guys, first grow, first harvest, first post, thanks in advance for your help

May 15 - Germinated and planted 10 seeds my sister had been given from a friends outdoor grow last season - no idea of the strains unfortunately.

Got 6/10 females! Judging by the leaves / height I think 2 are definitely sativa dominant, the other 4 are hybrid / indica dominant

7th August - 7 weeks agostarting to show pre flowers / pistils (first photo).

Sept 3rd - finished stretch, pistils pronounced / getting frosty (second photo)

September 18 - some plants 50% of pistols shrunk / darkened others tips darkened (photos 3,4,5)

September 24th - most pistils are light brown, very few white ones. (Sorry bad photos 6,7,8)

Since planting them in May I've actually been living in Chile, and all the photos are courtesy of my parents who have been looking after them :-)
My flight back is 16th October so I'll be getting home around the 18th (3 weeks). My parents are happy to harvest them but I'd love to be there to do it myself so I have a few questions...

1.Im pretty sure they have at least a week left but judging from the (poor) photos, how long do you guys think until they're ripe?

2. I've read that leaving them longer will give a more stoned effect, but how long is too long to leave them? I.e if they're ready in a week, can I just wait it out til I get back two weeks later? Or will the thc start to degrade?

3. The weather is forecast to be pretty constant for the next 3 weeks at 20-25 C in the day with sunshine and cloud and minimums of around 15C - humidity is mostly high around 80% in the day.

There is set to be three days of rain in the next three weeks. Also we live close to the sea and it's possible to have a thick mist / fog in the morning which normally burns off pretty quick.

Do you see any of these factors ( temperature / humidity / rain ) being able to degrade / ruin the crop of i wait it out?

I have asked my parents to go out and get a jewellers loop / USB microscope and to send some better photos of the pistils / trichomes which I'll hopefully be posting in the next few days.

One last question / maybe a bit of fun - the last photo is all the plants but one (the other super tall sativa) any idea what kind of weight I can expect to get from the 6 plants after drying and curing? Could be fun to take a punt - ill post the weight once I'm back, harvested, dried and weighed up :-)

Thanks in advance for all the help!

Peace, love and happy growing
