“A word salad is a "confused or unintelligible mixture of seemingly random words and phrases",[1] most often used to describe a symptom of a neurological or mental disorder. The words may or may not be grammatically correct, but are semantically confused to the point that the listener cannot extract any meaning from them. The term is often used in psychiatry as well as in theoretical linguistics to describe a type of grammatical acceptability judgement by native speakers, and in computer programming to describe textual randomization.

Word salad may describe a symptom of neurological or psychiatric conditions in which a person attempts to communicate an idea, but words and phrases that may appear to be random and unrelated come out in an incoherent sequence instead. Often, the person is unaware that he or she did not make sense. It appears in people with dementia and schizophrenia,[2] as well as after anoxic brain injury. Clang associations are especially characteristic of mania, as seen in bipolar disorder, as a somewhat more severe variation of flight of ideas. In extreme mania, the patient's speech may become incoherent, with associations markedly loosened, thus presenting as a veritable word salad.

It may be present as:

  • Clanging, a speech pattern that follows rhyming and other sound associations rather than meaning
  • Graphorrhea, a written version of word salad that is more rarely seen than logorrhea in people with schizophrenia.[3]
  • Logorrhea, a mental condition characterized by excessive talking (incoherent and compulsive)
  • Receptive aphasia[4]
  • Schizophasia, a mental condition characterized by incoherent babbling (compulsive or intentional, but nonsensical)”

People who brag about taking college-level courses in High School are actually admitting that they never attended college.

Don't concern yourself though. Trump loves the uneducated.

4 of my daughter's 6 classes this year (she's a junior) are AP.

Her lowest grade: 92. In physics.

It's OK for dad to brag.

People like @Buddha2525 talk about their grades in an attempt to validate their statements using old "appeal to authority" logical fallacy. He took classes and passed them therefore we should listen to him. Oh really? How about saying stuff that is based upon facts instead?

So what if he took physics in "colledge" (if true). This doesn't mean his claim is true that there are "2 billion communist asians" in China, Vietnam and North Korea who are seething with the desire to destroy the "American Way". He sounds like a male version of flaming pie who claimed Muslims were just waiting for the chance to invade the US so they could take ownership of her pussy.

You can’t reuse the same insult/moniker/adjective that was applied to you first. It just shows you’ve got nothing, and that you admire the person who insulted you.
Because you say so lol? And you're wrong. H&S expressly told me I can refer to him as "Stinky" if I allowed him to refer to me as "Peggy". I agreed lol. Take it up with him if you have a problem with that. But it's neat that you speak for him lol.

“You can’t say that, yerr wrong!”

That was your rebuttal?
No, it wasn't. You have a serious reading comprehension problem. I know that because you quoted what I literally said, and then concluded I said something completely different. Not only different, but you took it to an absurd extreme. I wonder why you would do that? Shame. Always hoping someone with 1/2 a brain would post in this pot site's brain trust forum of political geniuses. Not yet.

You seriously overestimate your ability to correctly interpret words expressed in sentences into thoughts.

Someone with half a brain would have twice as much as you do.
