Just playing the same tune you Progressives(TM) do. The whole point is winning. It's completely true what you Progressives(TM) have been saying. Democrats have lost way too many seats over the past decade. You and your kind have been completely unhelpful in turning that around but I don't deny it's true.
Well, now you have your candidate and the only one you would vote for. You'd have sat on the sidelines and pouted if your candidate wasn't the Democratic nominee for Governor. You are getting your way when others disagree that Florida will vote for a Sanders-type Progressive(TM) instead of somebody who takes a more moderate position but is still a progressive compared to Florida Republicans. I'll say it again, I truly hope, for the sake of many people in Florida who are targeted for persecution by the right wing movement, that Gillum wins. A lot is on the line.
Which is why I apply the same standard you do. Lose and Gillum and you Progressives(TM) are chumps. Just like Hillary and progressive Democrats have been for losing in 2016. .

There is no medal for showing up in this election. It matters. If you don't think that Gillum could win, you really fucked some people over by pushing so hard for him. Don't get me wrong. I think he can win. If he doesn't though, he's a chump, just like Hillary.

I do hope Gillum wins. Been saying that from the beginning. You'll have to prove to me that your strategy of all or nothing end up with results instead of nothing. In which case, I won't mind that I was wrong.

it's all about the show-up. polls mean nothing and are detrimental to democracy because it keeps those with ideology or team mentality from coming to the polls or not: why should i bother? that person won't win anyway, type of mindset.

For the past two or more years, you Progressives(TM) have been ragging on Democrats because they have been losing seats. Never mind the political climate or the very effective propaganda and tactics that GOP use. Never mind the right wing echo chamber called talk radio that is listened to 24-7 in the heartland that nonstop tells people about those dangerous Mexicans or whatever. Nope, what Progressives(TM) have been saying is Democrats are bad and for proof, look at the losses.
Then Bernie lost and OMG, he was cheated, even though all the facts say he lost because he couldn't convince black and Hispanic Democrats that he was the best choice for them.
And, as is true at the time Bernie lost when I in fact did vote for him and wanted him to win, I hope Gillum wins. I always want Democrats to win but I esepcially want Gillum to beat that shitty racist asshole Trump supporter the GOP has put up.
However, by the same standards you Progressives(TM) have set through your own rhetoric. If Gillum loses, he's a bum, just like Clinton.

That video is propaganda that supports the agenda of the right wing. Kyle made it to the fifth minute before he went off the rails and started campaigning for Republicans to win. It's all part of a voter suppression program. Kyle Kulinski's show is propaganda media outlet for the right wing.
Taking a step back from Kyle's show, what has actually changed?
Has Gillum softened on any of his policy positions? Has he said he no longer supports the agenda he won on in August? Is he now somebody you can't support because Kyle says Gillum is a "carreerist" and because Kyle said Gillum is pivoting or as Kyle said, >pivoting is the same as lying"?
Kyle said "Gillum said one thing in the primary and is now saying another". That is not true. Gillum hasn't publicly said he's changing the positions he ran on.
All of the drama because Clinton is appearing in Florida at a Gillum campaign rally on Oct. 23. Sheesh, talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Gillum was talking about policies and actions that were beyond the office of Governor of Florida during the primary. That hasn't changed. I didn't understand why he was taking such positions and thought it was all just to gain the votes of Progressives(TM). To me, it was like wearing a badge that made him part of the tribe.
Hillary Clinton is almost 70 and hasn't tarted herself up with plastic surgery. She looks like a older woman and I don't think it's appropriate to judge her because she's old. Or for what she's wearing or any of the other shit that propagandists bring up. Because its irrelevant.
I think it still comes down to whether or not a voter in Florida would prefer to have Gillum or the Republican in power in the governor's house. I don't see how Clinton affects that decision at all. You don't like her, I get it. Even in the post that I replied to you repeat propaganda bullshit like: "but she's so ugly". Regardless of whether or not you vote for Gillum, by the kind of crap you are saying, you've been played by Kyle and I suspect by his right wing benefactors. You have been their tool for years now.

Clinton is going to appear at a rally with Gillum on October 23. Maybe Clinton will praise Gillum like Bernie did about Obama at the Apr 4 town hall meeting held in remembrance of Martin Luther King in Jackson Mississippi. What Bernie said:
"The business model, if you like, of the Democratic Party for the last 15 years or so has been a failure," Sanders said. "People sometimes don't see that because there was a charismatic individual named Barack Obama, who won the presidency in 2008 and 2012."
"He was obviously an extraordinary candidate, brilliant guy," the senator added. "But behind that reality, over the last 10 years, Democrats have lost about 1,000 seats in state legislatures all across this country."
Black people really appreciate it when old white people praise their leaders for being charismatic, extraordinary and brilliant when their failures are pointed out at venues that are symbolically important to black people. Bernie forgot to mention Obama's athletic ability. It was probably an oversight because Bernie never played basketball.
I might just send Clinton a suggestion to pattern her speech at Gillum's rally along the same lines as Bernie's speech:
The city of Tallahassie has been marred with real estate corruption scandals. People don't see that because there was a charismatic individual named Andrew Gillum in charge of the city during that time.
He is obviously an extraordinary candidate, brilliant guy, but behind that reality, the time of his tenure as mayor was marred in scandal and a federal grand jury last summer subpoenaed five years of city records related to redevelopment deals and developers, including a longtime friend, lobbyist and political ally of Mayor Gillum's.
