Grow Tent size

Way more than id need for personnel smoko but if your an Oz plus a week man like a mate of mine then its not. Keep in mine he isn't running many plants either so will need a long veg to fill the canopy.

I planned on running either 2 with schwazzing "defoliation technique" or have 2 veg tents and use a scrog set Up, one for each plant per tent, fill it then flower the beasts in the 1.2 x
2 But we will see how it goes it may end up being something completely different, nd the tent for 1.2m x 1.2m is only 40 more so not that expensive.

I contacted migro directly with the link to the led and I gave them the lumatek digital ballast and omega bulb as a reference and he send me back.the info that the hps had more intensity by 20% on 440w settings which is what I asked. Do you reckon A 1000w could run in a 4x4 then? Or would cooling it be to expensive in the long run for the number of plants i want

hi mate yes you can run a 1000w i have one in a 4x4 using the exact same hood no air con i pull outside air through the hood back outside on its own n just run intake and exhaust as usual. You shouldnt have any temp issues as your not in a hot country opps i also use a 8 inch inline fan at half speed so about 350 cfm. cheers

hi mate yes you can run a 1000w i have one in a 4x4 using the exact same hood no air con i pull outside air through the hood back outside on its own n just run intake and exhaust as usual. Ah ok great. What's your out take exhaust fan Please? If your running the same hood as me and same size tent, I too can also have air run from outside in and back out side again so I could possibly just copy your set up if that's cool... I mean if your running the same karma hood, a 1000w light and a 4x4.

Tent size.....
When buying a tent make sure it gonna be big enough for your grow or a few months later you be buying a bigger one lol. Consider fans...some of those fans you lose floor space.
But wall fans...you can always hang a board to hold a fan and not lose floor space.
8x8 are nice...10x10 is better.
But I guess its all about space a person has to.

No my max space is 1.2 x 1.2 m lol so I couldn't go more unless I removed my bed and units etc but I'm not going that extreme lol. I just didn't know how hot an air cooled hood would get as I've never used one. As for fans I'm struggling to find a decent calculator to work out how many cfm's are needed per my grow space;

I got a veg tent 2.6 x 2.6 x 6.0 feet.
My flowering will be 1.2m x 1.2m.

Veg is an led light - QB.
Flower light will be a 600w dimmable with an air cooled hood. I don't plan on using all the space, just a 3x3 canopy under my 600w.


I meant struggling to find inline/extractor fan + filter calculator. I know it's LxWxH but what Then?

So what size of the following would you use in my "Veg Tent".

1. Inline Fan
2. Extractor Fan
3. Filter

Veg tent size is 2.6 x 2.6 x 6.0 foot tent and running a 260w Qb LED.


And what size of the following would you use in my "Flower Tent".

1. Inline Fan
2. Extractor Fan
3. Filter

Flower tent size is 1.2m x 1.2m x 2.2m Tent will be running a 600w dimmable ballast and an Air Cooled Hood. Probably be running on 440w first and then check temps etc and work my way up in watts to 600w once it's all dialled in.
