I'm looking for suggestions on cheap, all-in-one soil. I'm currently using happy frog ocean forest, and it performs very well but the aeration is shit and the price is too high. I grow in 3-5g smart pots indoors.

Build a Soil 3.0 is a great all in one soil and they sell recharge packs to add between crops to keep the soil at peak performance!

I am a longtime fan of promix. It comes in bales but using a kiddie pool or tarp to fill pots has worked for me. It’s pretty neutral and I prefer to not have added fertilizer so I know what they are getting and how much they are chowing down.

I heard about this stuff, but I live in a walk-up apartment. I don't have space to play around, I need everything in the bag ready to roll.
