And the decline begins.

The only thing I see in a LP is investment opportunity. A few good buys out there right now. Do I support LPs? Nope. Do I think they will grow as suppliers? Yup.
A lot of supply coming online as fast as new LPs can grow it and the bigger ones get bigger so pot stocks while high now are bound to drop drastically once the bubble bursts. If a guy had of got in on the growund floor you could have really made a killing.

I have 10G available and plan to put most of that into hemp stocks. Seeing the bank's investment counselor on the 1st to discuss that. Getting into investing now and learning as fast as I can.

Your awful quick to the LP side. Don't you get it? You seem like you'd be happy as a customer...am I wrong?

No i hope they crash and burn amd everyone lealrns to grow.

I just think at first they wiil thrive. And people will.pass the grow learn curve.

I know a guy. He wants tk know how.to grow 4 in his rental.apartment. he is dumb as bricks and will kill everything. He cant be the knly one.

Everyome in a rental apartment will not be able to grow. Thats a lot of.people.

I am just a realist. Lots of average married people are going to buy legal weed.

I do.my part and share i always grow more than i need.

5 gram script I can grow 25 plants
That sound like you can come out with a lode at harvest. In Oklahoma it's one mother, six seedlings or clones, six mature plants (not counting males), one oz hash or oil, and 72 oz edibles. And you can keep your stock up. For me that's more than I could possibly use.

Wow, on those regulations. Just looking then over and doing the calculations makes me think someone has a little too much time on their hands and trying to justify their job.

That to me seems like our future reality. Prices will have to come down but like now with booze and tobacco there are very few that brew or grow their own with the vast majority buying the legal product.

All of us that have lived thru the worst of the War on Pot have much different attitudes to the whole re-legalization process and speaking for myself will continue to oppose it until it's truly open and free.

At least as free as booze and tobacco meaning you can provide your own without fear of arrest or inspectors coming by to check that you are not overproducing the generous limits allowed or selling it. Someone would have to rat you out before the cops would come looking for your too big brewery or illegal still and they wouldn't be kicking in your front door if they did come to check.

If you were brewing up enough home-made wine in your apartment and stinking the place up you can bet the condo board would be pounding on your door so it's no mystery to me why it can be banned by landlords etc. But if you get caught with your 4 plants in a legal province the worst that happens is you get evicted. It will be a civil matter and nothing for the cops to get involved in unless you make threats or do something criminal.

As much as I hate it, the times they are a changing.

:peace:

Gonna be fun to watch the decline of the LP's begin. Imo.....it' already started.
I'm sure the best orders have been filled wholesale wise. Now it's going to be just refill what sells.
NOT the same as an initial stalking order.
PLUS as consumers get the idea that this legal stuff is lackluster at best ....more decline in sales will occur. Then with MORE Lp's coming online, this also equals a smaller slice of pie for those in it.
Then as some folks grow their own...bye byo profits-o

BOYCOTT...please don't buy or even think of buying any of this hypocrite laced dirty cannabis from your wanna be jailers. Does it make sense to lick the hand of the person slapping you?

BOYCOTT..........the time is NOW...talk it up.

Don't buy even 1 gram.......stop the pollution they make as well.

Support the originators......the Black Market.
I think all this upheaval over LP's & their substandard products is a waste of time & good energy.
Let's get serious here - Whoever is buying from LP's doesn't know their stuff. Are they being taken advantage of? Yes, but if they are intelligent enough to work a computer, they probably know how to read as well...so, if they took the time to read about it & get informed, then they know and CHOOSE to buy from LP's. If on the other hand they don't even bother to inform themselves before ingesting something, then they deserve what they get. It's not the big company's fault for being at the right place at the right time. Snake oil salesmen have been around since forever, and nobody ever managed to stop them...LP's, governments, politicians, it's all the same. It was supposed to be about the people, but as usual it took a hard right & became about money. People need to let the LP's & the government & the people who choose to be part of it all, be. We still have some sort of freedom in this country, to follow others like sheep...right off the cliff. Let them all be for goodness sake!!!
They'll either come around on their own, like big boys & girls or they won't. Live & let live I say :)

I don't feel that this statement is accurate. Everyome in a rental apartment will not be able to grow. I think that any medical users already living in an apt. (any rental unit) will be covered under the grandfather clause. Whatever rules were in place when they originally moved in, will legally have to continue to apply. For medical users, the rental company will have to work with those tenants to make it possible for them to continue growing with the best interest of both patient & unit/owner. Newcomers will be a different story.

That's why I'm getting the license. Trying to manage with 4 plants is too much of a pain. I ended up going with 4 photoperiod plants to maximize yield, but I'd rather be growing a bunch of autoflowering plants right now.

I simply wouldn't have enough meds to last until my next crop if I lost a plant ...and I'm tired of paying for my meds in spite of the fact that I'm covered by two insurance plans. Consequently, being forced to wait for four to six months before I get to consume my own meds represents thousands of dollars in out of pocket expenses for me.

That's really why the government set the 4 plant limit. They could have gone with any number, but they wanted to be sure patients would still have to deal with their gate keeper (i.e Health Canada) in order to grow and maintain a medical garden, thus ensuring that as many of us patients as possible would be forced to remain captive consumers of LP weed.
Really agree with your last sentence...how true...how sad! :(

Everyone in a rental has never been "allowed" to grow. The point is many still did and got away with it. The rules didn't matter before prohibition 2.0 and they sure as hell aren't all of a sudden gonna matter.
The irony of all of it is now the government is flooding the streets with actual poison. They never could control it and despite their desperate attempts they never will.

Cheers :)
