Ph Down with?

You should get a small RO unit
Thanks.
Yeah I give up. I don't even know why I bother sometimes. Most any advice on here is criticized to the nth degree.
I'm actually putting in an RO as I type this. It's not small though. I scored a 10 gal pressurized holding tank, too!

It should refill the tank in 20min.

That's a bad Ass system... How much was it and how many gallons can it make per day?

I got a major hookup, so it is free. I don't know what it will make a day, I do know that it will refill that 10 gallons in 20 min.

Way cool...I'm green with envy! lol

After that your supply of ph down should last 100 years easy.

@George2324

Check out this RO system. Fills 10gals every 20 mins according to Big Perm. Maybe look into it? Had to search the forums to find that post you made about your massive water needs so I could @t your name. Hope it's helpful. :)

I'm going to run it at 50ppm though, that's how I can get the 10gal in 20min. Waste should be 1:2.
Edit: I could probably take it down to 30ppm and be not far off of the 20min.

I'm envious of your tap water, damn! My ppm is 600+- out of the tap.

Ya, I figured with that ph that it must be loaded with Ca++ and more. Your plants will love the RO water. On a related note I just bookmarked a product that you might like. It's a dry powdered calmag. Check it out. I'm gonna buy some.

I've lived on the northwest coast for over 5 years now in several locations. Great water and I assume it's from the groundwater being refreshed by all the rain.
Cheers,
JD

Whoa, thanks for the link!
So, I've been using this, and never even considered going to powder. Well, other than the epsom.
In the pic you can see magpro, calmag and epsom.
I'm running liquids because they were also free. Got to talking with Dave from Dyna-Gro, and he sent all of this out for me to try. He was getting me off of FF. I like it, but I want to go to something like JR Peters after these run out. I actually can't wait.

Pour your bottle of ph down all over your face. What do you think will happen? Now pour my bottle of ph down on your face. What do you think will happen?
It's the same thing.

Thanks for making my point. You ever see an acid spill? I've seen many, you'll likely need the fire department. Ever see acid burns? I've seen some. I've had some even through all the protective clothing. I'm not a big-government guy, & not a big fan of regulations but I think that's one substance that should be regulated much more strictly. Only trade professional should have access to it, just my opinion based on experience, good luck
