Have you got that radiator turned off mate?I've got my fan near the window sucking fresh air through the ducting and the ducting in the tent,
This is having my life here!!! I've just checked and its 27.2 and the humidity is 44%
They are on 18/6 at the minute they go off 12 tonight then back on 6 in the morning, Ahhh i see it's only from screw fix ill have to look at getting one with a probe for a better reading ill put the 2 in at the same time and the glass is loose on mine also!! It was £15 notes aswell robbing fekkkerssAre you running your lights at night? Do you have a cold air intake or a window you can keep constantly open if not?
You need to look into a cool tube - I tried the setup you have using the existing extraction fan but you'll do better getting a stand alone fan for that. Cheap one will do running through the tents side holes.
Also, ive got that thermometer and it doesn't work very well, you'll have to keep it in the shade to get a good reading as it absorbs the heat - mine melted in the summer. The glass fell off.. You'd get better readings with one with a probe. You'll want the probe also in the shade and at canopy height (or close to it)
Yeah buddy the radiator is right next to the tent I made sure it was turned off the other week our Lass has the heating blasting all night man, nightmare.Have you got that radiator turned off mate?
Although it looks a top notch piece off kit it's a little out my price range lolRhino thermostatic fan 6" is what you should get. Tie it to the top cross bars with blue rope or chain and the fewer bends (1 ideally) the better. Also, you won't want the piping out of it very long at all, mines around 2 metres long and I shortened it
I school many on how to attain the correct reading from their meters.
I see its on top of the pots in the light, if it is still its the totally wrong place and humidity will drop as temps rise from radiant light radiation.
We are trying to omit all light radiation from reaching our probe so what were left with is the ambient air temps.
Your readings and pictures suggest this is exactly whats happening.
My advice is to place thermometer and humidity meter outside the tent and assume ventilation more than keeps your tent at those levels.
Heat is easy you just have to learn its principles - conduction convection radiation.
Ask the met office how they read air temperature and they will say in a stephenson screen, google that for the science.
Im uk and use plenty of heating and very little extraction under hps in a tent, it will work super easy![]()
Nice little plant you have,
Its not an opinion its simple fact/physics.To be honest buddy I would rather have it in the tent just so I know what the temps are around about no disrespect to your opinion, They are sitting nice and low now for the last 3 days they have been inbetween 25-28, Plus it's been very windy where I am and I have my inline fan right next to my window (its mounted to a wall where my window is) Sucking all the fresh lovely air in you can probably see the ducting off it in the middle off one off my pics.
It's a strange one the temps and how you have to try and control them I'm going to buy another one and place it in the middle off the tent higher up when they get a bit bigger and in flower.
