Coould I veg with CFL and put this sucker in the box with proper ventilation and have a successful harvest??

How close can I get to the plant with this light and how much hotter would it be then 6 CFL's lol...

I think it should work. I juts plan on cutting the lower branches forcing the buds to the top where the light is

You didn't say what size cfl's so nobody can say if they'll be the same or hotter, but six of any cfl's can add up fast heat wise.

Veg with this rather than cfl's or this and just one or two cfl's. This may not have the ideal spectrum for veg but it puts out so many more lumens it just doesn't matter. This wins.

And the method youre asking about is called ScrOG (type it into the search bar for many many answers)

Two of these is enough to keep a couple people supplied indefinately with a litle perpetual grow, and would throw maybe 1/3 the heat you're dealing with now but the yield and size of plants they could support would not compare ****AT ALL ***to 1000. If you run a bunch of these you'll end up back with the same heat problem you had with the 1000.

I have 5 super skunks that im hoping to get an ounce or more off each, and 3 white widows that im hopin to get 3 quarters from

I didnt think these little guys put off that much heat and i like that i can move them to hit more preferred spots rather than my giant light at the top. And if all else fails i can air condition the hell out of my room and still use my 1000w and this would make it 1750...:idea:

The thread is 18 pages long.

A simple "yes/no/maybe" would've done. then maybe a "resarch..period..." would've done well too.

I just want to know if it will work without digging through 18 pages ya dig?

Adjust your settings to the maximum posts per page, and this thread is only 5 pages long.

And yes, they are plug and play. You need to wire in the plug for the wall, thats it.

What im asking is the HPS will be too close/too HOT for the CFL stealth box I built.

I dunno, my CFL grow got VERY hot (granted, I was using over 600watts of them), but I would imagine that a 150w HPS wouldnt be any hotter than 6 or 10 of them.

Go to User CP, and its in like, edit options or something. Post per page.

oregon how come he doesn't wanna use all his cfl's and his hps???? this is a serious question not being n ass. i'm curious why only 2??

All econolights are fine rictor, they're cheap but they last and work just as well as anything else.
