guys I'm sorry for the bad pic, i knkw how far my light is supposed to be from my girls, but this plant has grown way bugger than I intended, she is almost finished not much longer left maybe 1 or 2 weeks tops I'm just trying to let her get a Lil extra light before finishing.

my question is will her being this close to 1k hps, even with the temps at 73 on the canopy and a fan kicking butt, will the hps, fry burn or light bleach my baby? I just want her to Have the best finish, but I'd rather her in the corner if anything bad will happen in the these last few days/weeks!

just need to know should I move her or will she be fine to finish here, the light it at max height and can't be moved sadly!

it appears to be at the closest point to be 12 in from the light to top bud. I do know that is too close for what ppl want, I just need to know if I will ruin my top colas, or I she can handle it for a week or 2 tops!

If you don't have a cooltube id imagine it'll fry them.
Put the back of your hand at the top cola height and see if you can leave it there for 30 sec without feeling uncomfortable.
Can you pull/bend them over and tie them down to the edge of their pots?

I do have a cool tube, the top of canopy, not at the site of what I'm showing but a foot or so to the side, the Temps are hitting 75 and 73!

I do have a cool tube, the top of canopy, not at the site of what I'm showing but a foot or so to the side, the Temps are hitting 75 and 73!

If you can take a temperature from right under the light but in the shade of the leaf or something.
Pretty sure with cooltube 1000w should still be 20-24 inch away.
But try the hand thing under your light also.

Keep ya temp gauge there for a hour or so and if it doesn't go above 85 i'd say you're going to be golden.
You must have some crazy good ventilation dude, but i've heard people running 1000w as close as 10-12 inches..
Also keep an eye on them, watch for the leaves curling upwards and drooping... Look up signs of heat stress and keep an eye on them.
I'd personally be trying to bend them over, but you may not need to if it stays at 75.

OK temps seem to be holding at 77, with my hand above the closest bud, my guess is 9-10 inches, its not burning or even very hot at all, don't get me wrong there is some heat, but not to the point of having to move my hand, I could honestly leave it there for a few hours! maybe my light is just old and a lot dimmer than it use to be, I do plan to replace my bulb after this grow....

lol I actually do, using. a 960 cfm fan with carbon scrubber for a 5x5 tent, honestly there is at max about 700 cubic feet in the entire room, plus a 12k btu ac, it's way over kill, I didn't know at the time! but yeah that fan can swap every inch of air on the room in... I'd guess about 40 seconds give or take!

I can't which is the whole reason I'm trying to get opinions, the light is at max height, and I'm using a sip pot, I had no idea she would grow so fast and big it really hit me by surprise! so I'm trying to make do!

Cooltubes just doing what they're meant to do i guess.

Let me know how you get on in a hour or so with temps, and like i said keep an eye on signs of heatstress cause that'll make your buds all airy and foxtail etc.

turn the bulb from horizontal to vertical get rid of the hood push the plant apart sit the light in the middle with the fan facing direct up to the light

btw it is not going to get any bigger as the growth faz has finished almost 4 weeks ago it should be doing bud production only way it getting bigger is if u have the light to far away and by the looks of them buds i say u do they should be fist size buds from a 1000w hps even a 600 to 400 i have seen mega buds off a 400
