I don't think that has been put into play "yet" , could happen ?? I just repeated what my dispensary told me. I started my online app Sept. 10th , didn't get all of the paper work done until Oct. 4th / with C.C. payment and receipt on same day / but didn't clear C.C. company until the 7th . so we are on the same ride ! Good luck with all ! keep posting , as will I ! Happy Thanksgiving !

So 10-14 days was 5 days, nice. Wonder if they've switched to a closer state for printing. Only Mag91 has ever made my first shopping list.
That puts me a week after when I really want it. But still earlier than the 90 days I figured when I first applied.
Although the provisional access law passed in late August, that portion of the bill is not yet in effect. The IDPH is required to publish the rules & procedures for provisional access by 12/1 (fyi, the same deadline applies to the rules & procedures for the new opioid program).
Unfortunately, that's all we know about the timing for provisional access right now. We don't know for certain that the IDPH will meet the 12/1 deadline, and we don't know how quickly the rules & procedures will actually go into effect once finalized.
We also don't know how any of this will affect those of us with already pending applications, though I assume that'll be addressed in the rules once published.
Reading this thread makes me so excited to get my card. I have chronic fibromyalgia every day. Medical marijuana will help me tremendously. I mailed my application in on nov 20th and have not received an email confirming they received it yet. Hoping they can get through these applications fast, and get the new laws in motion so I can go to the dispensary while waiting for my card in the mail.

I’m dealing with fibromyalgia as well. I should be getting my card by next week. I mailed everything on 8.30.2018. My check cleared last Friday.

What's your timeline? Date you applied?
I applied online 11/05/18... I believe you only get email confirmation if you apply online.
OK, I might as well add myself to the list of those "patiently" waiting. Here's my timeline so far:
Submitted online application: 11/05/18
Received email receipt and saw card was charged:11/06/18
Called to ask about provisional approval and confirmed receipt: 11/12/18
Just an FYI, I was told that provisional approval would not go into effect until "sometime after January 1, 2018". I was also told that my application probably wouldn't be processed until Later January, which is consistent with the processing times reported here. The sucky part, I was already charged when I submitted my online application.
I'll update as my story unfolds. lol
