Please take this advice from experience and learning the hard way. Don't feed the monkeys, and I'm not personally calling anyone a monkey, or you'll never get them off your back.
Sometimes two people can mean well but never even come close to seeing eye to eye. From there it's just a downhill battle of action, reaction, action, reaction.
