Regular seeds vs feminized seeds

quick question.
Do regular seeds that turn out to be female, produce more buds than feminized seeds?
I know auto’s produce less buds, but wasn’t sure about regular vs feminized

They can, yes. When you buy feminized seeds you are buying seeds produced to express the same genetic traits as the mother or plant that they were made from, with little variation. Where as buying regular seeds, you're getting the opportunity to find phenotypes or genetic expressions from both parent plants. So basically if you buy a pack of reg seeds, you might find one plant that's a really good producer, but maybe lacks on taste or smell. Or maybe you'll find one that has a strong smell and a d Terps with superior quality, but doesnt produce the largest. It's all about luck of the draw.

Feminised seeds are not clones. They still have variations based on the arrangements of alleles. When you clone a plant you're regrowing that same plant without anything going on at the genetic level. When you self a plant you are recombining that plants genetic material. Since plants have two sets of alleles, they will combine differently, even when selfed. So you will get variations of phenotype expression based on dominant and recessive traits that may not have expressed themselves in the mother plant. Yes, you are only using 1 set of DNA, but you're combining it differently in each seed. Thats the way DNA works. It's why even though I have 2 sons, different aspects of my Y chromosome got passed on. Although they may not share the Same X with each other.

Anyway, no, S1, feminized seeds will strongly resemble the mother plant but are not clones and can be used to do phenotype hunting.

So for as a yield aspect, it’s just depends on the plant? Is that what I’m understanding?

This this this this. BTW, that explanation is just my understanding of plant genetics. I am, by no means, a botanist or horticulturalist. Just a giant nerd.
i only do fem seeds and that all made sense to me. i definitely get different phenos from a pack of the same strain. and fem seeds make sticking to a plant count easier if they are all females.

I drew a little pic here to go with my above explanation. It gets a bit more complicated than this when it comes to alleles and specific genes, and I'm not 100% sure if plants have Y chromosomes per se, but here it is.

Yep. And if you look at it, only half the plants are X1, X2. That's why selfing isn't cloning. You're not going to get the same range of phenos as a male x female cross, but you will get some.
