just the name of their first album.

if you are into JD or New Order, rent the movie Control. kinda sad.
Oh, I seen it. Sometimes I wake up out of a nightmare of the dancing chicken from 24 Hour Party People. I probably would have been at their show had he not hung himself.

makes you wonder how much bigger they would have become. and if this took place today, would medical MJ helped his epilepsy enough to ease the demons?

i got into new order first and then went backwards to JD.

I liked the initial stuff NO did but Blue Monday burned me out pretty badly

Saw New Order on their original farewell tour for Republic at the Brendan Byrne Arena in NJ. 808 state opened. Everyone danced through the whole thing. It was one of the best concerts I've ever been to.
when was that? like mid 90's?

i saw them a few years ago here in CO. really small arena in Broomfield. felt like i was standing right next to them. killer show. even without Peter Hook.

kinda wish they would reconcile and do one more tour as the original.

93/94? I rocked that tour shirt for like 8 years. I've seen the Cure (Robert Smith covered Purple Haze and set his guitar on fire), Depeche Mode, the Pixies, PSB, Morrissey, Sisters of Mercy, Smashing Pumpkins, the Cardigans and that's just some of the new wave and alternative. Missed out on U2 and some others because of boarding school.
Miss NYC hard.

i chuckled a bit when you said brendan byrne arena.

we were close to Trenton and would take the train in high school to see the Devils play. Flyers tix were too expensive and Devils hardly had any attendance during late 80's.

i would give my left nut for a sack of White Castle.
