Yeah the problem is they dont have enough light to stretch I made the same mistake thinking raising the lights would strech the plants but it doesn't really they need 600-800ppfd to get a good strech imo.

Edit: heat is also a big factor in healthy growth turning the power up should add a little heat that you probably need

i turned up the light to max and dropped it to 24” from 30, thanks for the suggestion, i post back in a few days and see whats going on.
if its mites im sure ill know within a week, if its calcium def it should clear up on the new growth like the bigger plant did.

my ph was also low, was feeding the plants at around 5.7-5.8

i only have used calmag within the last week, hydro shop guy told me our areas tap water needs cal mag anyways

sorry not posting in other forum, its the same 10 people who post here anyways, i post in the most looked sections

2 weeks as a seedling and 6 weeks in veg, those are pretty small but they look healthy.

How far is the light??

I think you could pull couple ounces each plant . I would love to pull a pound this grow but it probably won’t happen .

as my first grow im just looking to keep the plant healthy and figure out nute application.
if they double in size during flowering im holing for a few zips, this is a learning experience for me

i definitely stressed the hell out of the plant during the first month of veg
transplanting when not ready, messed up ph, used 4 different lights ( returned my vipar to amazon, also a platinum pled and a canagrow led, no joke) mixed crap in my soil that wasnt needed, had fungus gnats, just barely started using calmag the last two weeks, and had a issue with my tap water.

whew, yeah its been a sharp learning curve, but im happy the plants look healthy to my untrained eye.

in my noob opinion the yellowish spots are calcium definecy, when i feed the second plant today( at the correct ph) im praying the new growth doesnt have the spots, the same way it happened on the bigger plant( new growth has no spots)

i would be ecstatic to pull a quarter pounder with cheese on my first grow after all the problems i have had, the plants vegger for 7 weeks, but were super stunted at the begininng, probably from the lack of calcium

Little bit of an update, i fed the second plant with 10ml of calmag+ two days ago, went to check on the plants at lunch and all the new growth looks perfect again.

So the spots i had werent bugs, it was definitely a cal mag issue.

Thouroughly checked all the leaves of both plants and literally stared at them for a while and absolutely nothing moving, no peats so very happy

I also added a small dose of flowering nutes to the normal veg, going to start upping flowering nutes and lowering veg nutes coming into end of first week.

You shot yourself in the foot when pruning at the beginning of bloom. It's always best to do your pruning in veg before bloom, or after 3 weeks in bloom when the stretch stalls. I wanna be a dick and gas you up about a stellar harvest because you're being a dick to nxsov on his old thread, but why waste time and put out bad information? Next grow, wait till your plants beg to transplanted before doing so. It's important that the roots can deplete the wetness from the media so they can experience both saturation and just damp to promote root growth. If a plant is in too large a pot with too much media, it'll take days to deplete the wetness and overall growth rates will be diminished. I start my seedlings and clones in solo cups and leave them there till the plant is about a foot tall and almost as wide. I refuse to pot up until I can drench the media and it be near bone dry a day later. I also use a clear cup as the actual pot, and another solid colored cup outside of that so that I can frequently separate the cups to monitor root growth.

Please don't read too deeply into my dick comments, I just noticed you were trolling someone that helped me out once, so if you force me to choose a side, I will. I just want to point out that if you put out negative energy, negative energy will come back in kind. Be nice, it's free!

My worst mistake was mainlining the plants, which wouldnt you know i read on this forum, when i didnt have the experience in growing a regular plant.
so thanks for the info, i already fogured it out on my own, like most of the grow.
i just come on here to read how much bullshit people like you have to say.

i mean if i actually took the advice i read on here, i wouldve trashed the plants because apparently i have a massive spider mite infestation according to some other posts

oh well, dont worry my first grow is going exceptional for someone with no experience conpared to some of the dipshits on this site.
