When does veg actually start the minite the seed pops?

Like when does veg start in general like as in when the seed comes throigh the soil or do you take a week for the seedling to grow a bit then count veg?

Generally I wouldn't count veg until you have true leaves.

I've really never put much thought into this. I just "veg" the plants till they are ready to flower. I like this answer though. There is definitely a point where they are "seedlings", not vegging plants.

IME you'll notice a sort of explosion in growth when they go from seedlings to vegging plants.

As for feeding, if it has roots, it gets the same full strength mix everything else gets. (DWC)

I don't see why. It's not like the DWC reservoir is going to suddenly spike up to toxic levels. What seems bold is everyone starving their younger plants by giving them quarter strength, or only pH'd water until 2 weeks. I just can't understand that.

Cotyledon leaves provide the nutrients necessary until the true leaves come in. That said, I feed my seedlings, just not full strength.

That is completely wrong, you really shouldn't spread false information. Here is a very simple info-graphic that explains the stages of plant growth nicely for you. The time frames on these aren't all accurate, but the principles still apply.
This is why pretty much every nutrient company mentions the seedling stage on the bottle. And why most books and literature also mention the seedling stage. Its part of the life cycle of pretty much all plants.
Another important note to make is that flowering doesn't start instantly when you switch your lights to 12/12. It takes time for the plant to transition from veg to flower. Usually that is 7-10 days depending on the strain and maturity of the genetics.

There was a day it started at 5 blades. Then there was a day I counted it as once the podbuster/feeder leaves turned yellow. Now I really don't give a fuck . It is all veg once they start noticeably growing.

Its funny you would use the word biology, since that in it self contradicts your whole arguement, which is still wrong. It doesn't matter what "us growers" refer to with how count your veg time. A "seedling" is definitely a real botany term, and is part of the plants life cycle. The biology of the plant and of all plants defines this term. You are the one that is trying to remove that period and just call it veg time.
Your right this is very googleable. Thats why I googled a simple info-graphic to make it easy for you to understand. I just choose one, but there were many. All showing a seedling stage

.I only brought up the flower period transition because that's another way some growers just do things. Lots of growers will refer to 12/12 time, but that IS NOT the same as flowering time. If that isn't made clear to new growers, they think the plant is flowering once they switch their lights. Then 7-9 weeks later they don't understand why their plants aren't ready yet.
I stopped "counting" weeks/days years ago. I watch my plants and veg them till they are ready to flower and then flower till they are matured and ready to harvest. The last time I counted time was while running testers for Sin City Seeds. I kept notes for that since it was part of the tester process.
I also should add that my seedlings and clones get full strength veg nutes as soon as they have roots.
