After sending your children to public school for a total of 36 years, when did you start feeling negative towards public schools ?

I felt negative towards them as a student, didn't like the one size fits all herding sensation. Thought the curriculum was designed to mold, rather than educate.

Since then, many years have passed and my main objection is that it's wrong to forcibly make unwilling people pay for things they wouldn't ordinarily pay for if other choices were allowed.

After listening to me rail on for several years, why do you still think it's okay to use a gun to fund an institution which claims to teach children that bullying is wrong?
