I used string on one of mine and it worked great but the downside being it's difficult to move/inspect. Alternative maybe is each plant has it's own "support structure" which it's strings are attached to?
i have most of mine attatched to the support bars in the top of my tent so the string can slide along the bars easily. its awkward but works lol

yeah i kind of had a feeling thats what it is. was considering replanting it in fresh coco and planting the stem a little deeper. would some mycos help with ridding it of pythium?
Dang that sucks bro. There’s nothing you can do once it’s like that, there is no cure only inoculation (prevention). It can be something other than pythium, another fungus but pythium is usually what does that. Sorry spud.

I’m not sure, since we don’t actually know what’s causing it. You can try. Keep them and their runoff isolated so they don’t spread it if they have it. I would not reuse the medium in that particular container.

I run flood and drain pots with a scrog net in veg. I usually can't move them around anyway which sucks. I was also thinking about a tomato cage and anchor it into each pot so i wouldn't have to use the net and make it easier to move the plants around. The cages are fairly bulky though

ive heard of someones stem rotting away alright just didnt know what caused it. no that was just a DIY drip ring but the rez sat under the shelf the tent is on and it has drainage holes for the pot so i think that caused the pythium. either that or the coco was staying too wet but i dont think it was that.
Hopefully they take. You should look into the areocloner or build a diy one. Since I started using the areocloner Iv had 100% success rate. When I started cloning I used the root riot cubes in a dome and would loose about 70% of the clones. So far I haven’t lost one with the areocloner. Touch wood hatook 6 clones and binned the mother. hopefully they take, havent had great luck with cloning

I use the dome over them for the first week in the cloner. If not they droop but if left on too long they start to get black mold on them from the humidity.yeah was thinking of building or buying one alright. has yours a humidity dome or what? i checked my clones this morning and they were all drooping to fuck
Try get a dome over them or increase the humidity in the room. Might get lucky.mine have completely drooped so i think that was a complete fail
