My entire life we have been sending our troops to secure "our" resources and maintain "our" stability. What difference does it make? This shit still baffles me that people think we have a good side and bad side of government. War forever!
It is always about corporate money under the guise of peace.
And shady back room dealing. Because the world knows isis is still in syria regardless of what putin and his puppet say.

Imagine if America actually stopped invading other countries.
What would it do with its huge invading armies? They would have to downsize it substantially= Massive unemployment.
The arms Factories in every state? They would have to close or at least consolidate= More unemployment.

Americas whole economy seems to rely on war and war being a huge employer of its people. Its also a great way to help control the poor. They join the cannon fodder, sorry I mean the marines and get brainwashed into becoming Conservatives- Hence the cycle continues.

Iraq was about oil.
Afganastane was about the oil pipeline the Taliban agreed to and then reneged on.
Iran is next id imagine.

Imagine if the US Department of Defense took that name more literally.

I wonder how many join the military wanting to go to war? Maybe shoot people? I bet most join, like I did, for a job or a career and didn’t really believe they would end up on a battlefield. Unemployment drives recruitment in many cases. But there will always be the Rambo effect I guess?

I’m in my sixties and can’t remember a time when this country wasn’t killing someone for their up most benefit. America loves to export death and destruction and if it looks like a never ending quagmire all the better we can play war for years before we have to move on to a new cluster fuck. Long quagmires are more cost effective than bunches of little ones since moving all that shit is so labor and cost extensive.

Im not a "Lib". I screamed about Iraq cause it was an invasion. Over a lie and against the wishes of the UN. Hussain was a merciless dictator but because he was a murderous dictator he kept the different factions and clans etc in place. Iraq was a fairly safe place.
America invaded and the place has gone to the dogs. Its not a safe place. America owes the people stability and safty and the infrastructure returned to what it was before the war. The oil reserves that America has now given to western oil companies should be given back to the Iraq people. After all it is theirs.

Some trip to troops in a war zone. In the most secure section of a secure American base with only the troops that could squeeze in and who were deemed safe to be near His Highness. He is the most gutless chickenshit Americans have ever been duped into electing.
Hey! Cool it. Bone spurs are no joke.

Born, raised and still exist today on the never ending mantra of American exceptionalism.
Davy Crockett and Betsy Ross, and Diana Ross singing with Lee Harvey Oswald and Billy Joel on piano.
Fucking sick analogies, but somehow today in Trump World they make sense to me.
