I just sprouted 10 auto flowering seeds. 5 of them are lowryder #2 and 5 are auto ak47. it had been about 3 days since germination and all 10 look to be doing well. i was planing on growing some in dirt but i could not find any decent soil around me. i have decided to go with the aerogarden that i purchased for my girlfriend a while ago which is not getting any use at the moment.since the aero garden only holds 7 plants i need a place to put the last 3. i have some extra General Hydroponics Waterfarms that i could put them in, but do you think that that they are too big for this strain. could i put all 3 in one Waterfarm? i am really excited about these plants ive heard alot about them and am curious for any input
thanks alot

Water farms will hold them just fine under proper lighting lowryders can actually grow pretty big.

get them lights closer.
what lights are you using aswell.
cfls an inch away from the top from the sproutlets would make them grow nice a bushy for a bit.

i moved the lights closer by placing a book under water res. they now sit about 2-3 inches under the lights.

about adding the cfls should i put one on each side. can you place another one under the light hood like in the picture above. i had to take that bulb out cuz i felt like it was cooking the plants.

ill post pics again in the morning of the lights

Is that fungus on your rockwool? I heard rockwool can grow fungus from light exposure. I covered mine, but i'm using soil and it was causing the plant to stay a little moist underneath, so i've stopped. I don't know if leaving them exposed like that is hurting your plants or not. But it appears as though they are growing nice and big, so you must be doing things pretty well. I would throw some cfl's in on the sides though. As your plants get taller, that overhead light can only do so much for the sides and lower branches of the plant.
