I thought it was common knowledge that breeders chose the plants that handled stresses the best.

That with light cycle interuptions, massive nutrient stress, extended moisture stress, etc. the plants would not reverse.

I read that this was done to all the original hybrids we have enjoyed.

While it may be common knowlage, kingrow1 doesnt know that silly common stuff... only super rare classified science.

I dont always get along with him but he had a comment i liked above that is pretty spot on. I tried to put it into another perspective so you could see the plants are chosen to be resistant not that they wont turn under any circumstance.

I think the hate for vivaspectre and mars actually caused a buzz and now they are pretty famous and an everyday word amongst weed sites.

I have seen tomato, pepper and various herb and house plants grown quite well under some random name chinese blurples at the local garden store.

But i have no personal experience. They do look to have a narrow coverage but the plants leaves are large and stalks thick and tall. That is grouped properly under an array of them.

I always figured they work if you are realistic about them but they would have questionable parts or engineering or both and not last too long or be reliable.

I don’t believe that at all

According to the specs the 300w viparspecta is only good for a 2.5x2.5

I would actually like to see a pic of the lamp in the room aswell.

On the viparspecta specifications and website it says beginner growers to intermediate choose these lights.

It only ever talks about footprint and never depth of light penetration.

If you’re really using the 200w panel to grow these then you’ll need to create a journal for people to believe your hype.


LED’s have come along way granted but come on mate the days of blurple LED’s are pretty much gone forever.

And if those are your plants they don’t look anywhere near done and your leaves are showing serious deficiency symptoms.

So far Ive seen you ask this question around 5 times in different threads.

Here’s what has happened.

Your female plant X has grown male flowers Y in a self preservation situation.


Does this mean your plant has changed sex?

No. It means your plant has become stressed enough to throw out some bananas.

Now, due to there being no male plant around only sets of male flowers this means that the pollen will be female (just like when people use colloidal silver to induce male flowers)

Does this mean that your resulting seeds will be feminised. YES as there wasn’t a male around to create regular seeds.

Now the big question is will these seeds be viable due to the way they have been created?

The answer is this!

Will they be female - Yes

Could they carry the Hermie trait due to the way they were made - Yes

Should you grow them and try them - that’s only an answer you can make.

You explaimed it perfectly there my friend thats all i needed to know im goimg to just let the plants grow out and start flushing next week im growing im coco and the suggested flushing time is 1 week so ill flush for a week,


Also sorry for the constant posting about this subject just theres only me my missus and my mam and dad know im growimg, I cant exactly go up to my friends and ask them their opinion because i don't want anyone off them kmowing im growimg they are all Smokers and will be onto me like a shot, There is a saying amomst where i live in England "Loose lips sink ships" hence why i joined this forum to ask for good advice feom people allover the world.

I don’t even look to weed growing sites really other than this forum.

I don’t simply have the time.

When I first began growing I had local grow shop near me that stocked a magazine called URBAN GARDEN (edited to actual name lol )

These magazines were basically my bibles.

I even took the time to copy them word for word with pictures and posted them here on RIU somewhere for others to read.

It’s a publication about indoor growing not cannabis.

Just general indoor growing. Herbs, veggies, fruits.

I learned to grow plants using this publication pretty much.

It’s stopped being published now but it was very useful.
