When I first began growing I had local grow shop near me that stocked a magazine called URBAN GROWER.

These magazines were basically my bibles.

I even took the time to copy them word for word with pictures and posted them here on RIU somewhere for others to read.

It’s a publication about indoor growing not cannabis.

Just general indoor growing. Herbs, veggies, fruits.

I learned to grow plants using this publication pretty much.

It’s stopped being published now but it was very useful.

Hello to another another U.K grower to!

There was a grow bible on a website called ilovegrowingmarjuana i think i downloaded it, Its okay but its just the simple stuff you already know.

Can i ask another quesrion how lomg should i flush? Hahaha im kidding im smoking a number as we speak and thought id pull your leg, Im flushing for a week done the first flush today and let them drain out in the bath.

I would love to say it was all my bud.

But it was a contest of sorts.

A guy I knew on here had a grow going on and he said whoever guessed closest to the yield he would write their name in bud for an avatar pic lol. The rest is history lol.

I always feel so bad for the newbies. How do you know who to listen to? Essentially your grow will teach you but that can be a painful lesson especially for the kiddos with little money wasting it on snake oil or killing their plants by choosing the wrong information etc....

What was the final yield by the way and is there any links to a thread about it it would be intresting to read and have a look.

Final yield I can’t remember.

It was 8 years ago lol.

The user was DANTHEBULL

I’m sure if you search his name he’ll come up.

I did have an upper hand though as I’d seen the grow first hand.

Word of warning though.

Don’t try and contact Dan.

He passed away December 2017 in Goa in a horrific accident.

My first grow.

2 bagseed
600w HPS
no ventilation blah blah blah.

One went Herm and I netted a total of 32g from 1 2ft tall heavily underfed plant lol.

Yeah ive just been reading some off his threads he sounds a cool dude,

Shitt mann thats fucking awful sounds like you guys where close to with seeimg his grow first hand, Always keep that pic/avatar on matey keep his memory alive going on this forum.

You mentioned your first grow their buddy mine was terrible to and shit smoke to but i smoked it It was northern lights well meant to be lol I also had a 600hps off my mate that looked like it had been dug up from somewhere and like you say no air flowing either ventilation or anything, Then i bought brand new everything, It was a bundle like you get the light (600hps) Budbox 1x2 1x2 2m tent Rhino Filter plus all the Canna Nutes was nearly £500, Worth it though.


I love growing outdoor weed to i can grow some good weed outdoors i love outdoor grows been doing them every summer for years now, I cant wait until the end off March/April, My ex woudnt let me grow inside but now i have a missus that smokes weed and lets me grow inside lol.

How many grows have you got under your belt now buddy if you dont mind me asking?

3 or so a year for the last 10 years.

At one point during my growing time I was perpetual and always had plants flowering and some vegging.

Thats what i wanted a veg tent and a flowering tent but the missus woudnt agee with the veg tent lol Just the one tent for vegging and flowering.
