been busting ass, harvesting my worm castings! the ladies are gunna love this Lil treat! took me 5 hours to do everything, and re set the worm bin, I really need to get a better method, than sifting through a cup at a time, and I'm also pretty sure the holes in that thing are way too small lmfao. but got the job done so I can't complain!

I don't have a scale that goes high enough, but I'd be willing to bet, I harvested somewhere around 30-40 pounds of castings! and they looks amazing!tf1546731705080.jpg tf1546733995678.jpg

Do you aerate the water? Doesn't roots just rot and die? Do roots go all the way in to water? I wanna give this a shot but kinda confused on how the system works.
no I do not aerate the water but only bc I use em1 in my sip, but this is a subject that no one really has a 100% for sure answer bc, yes in the regular sips it's a must to aerate the water, but em1 is not aerobic and only survives in anerobic conditions. so sorry to say by myself and a few ppl are testing this to find out which is best, air stone or no air stone!

but yes eventually the roots do end up stretching into the rez!

if I was to stop tucking today, on day 7 of flower, what's yalls best estimate of how tall each stalk would be above the screen?

my Goal is to get right about 12-16 inches above the net.

I think you have guessed about what i would have estimated in height. 2 more weeks of hard stretch and 1 week of light stretch ( should be) around 16 more inches. Looking good my man!

but everyone keeps telling me to tuck for another 2-3 weeks, I just can't see how I'm going tuck that long, and still be able to have 12in. long branches coming over the top of the net! I just don't see how!!!

i would tuck maybe just a couple more days and then let them go
see that's kinda what I was thinking, but the man I got it from and a few others who have all grown out this strain, even josey whales, all say between 3-4 weeks of tucking, but from what I'm seeing regardless how much much it stretches after 2-4 weeks most stretching will be done! so how can I tuck on week 4, and expect to have a nice size branch going above the net! I really think I'm going to tuck one more time in about 5-6 days and let her go and just see what happens, I'll be running this strain many more times so I've got time to mess up and learn!

Hey man! I took a "nap" and woke up a month later. lol
Not sure what your DIY worm bin looks like, but if you let the worms eat up all of their food, they will migrate to the very top layer of the medium. Take some food and spread it on top and cover with wet brown paper sacks. The next morning or 2, 90% of the worms will be in that top layer. Just my .02.

Fill it up, you got time. I'd be shootin' for over 50 grams a cubic ft if netted down. Personally, I like to spin my plants around and constantly work exposing nodes to light from all angles. Makes super dense buds.
Nice job on the GG#4 getting it to this point.

OK funny thing...

I use a pair of really expensive Oakley sunglasses for when I'm in my flower room, all the lights and shit hurt my eyes, and I can see the color better!

well I had the crazy idea which turned out to be a great fucking idea! but my glasses in front of the camera! well here's the results from last night, I have to play with camera settings but I think I'm on to something!

all pics taken on normal phone camera settings, wit my sunglasses in front of the thingy! and under 1000w hps and fullspectrum ledsCM190112-031740003.jpg CM190112-031806001.jpg CM190112-031821002.jpg CM190112-031832003.jpg CM190112-031844004.jpg CM190112-031852005.jpg

OK well I said I was going to stop tucking a few days ago, and I didn't really tuck per se, but I tried my best to space out the branches and try to clean it up a lil. I must have chopped at least 2 pounds worth of stems and lower growth that was under the net, may have went a lil more ham than I wished, but I'm sure she will make up the growth. today makes day 14 of flower, so I should have another 10-14 days of stretch! but she's looking great! my next sip, I will do a lot better, I've learned a lot from this first time running gg!

sorry about the color, I'll snap a few good pics at lights out, but considering I'm taking pics under 1k hps, I think they look pretty decent!

and the last thing I wanna show and say!(although I'm not very proud of these pics, some of the girls just aren't something to be proud of, I believe my soil has Gotten a lil out of wack! I'm fixing that now) is the other flower tent!

just a tad info, there is 4 strains, 2 phenos of 2 of those strains! and some are clones some are from seed. all are within a few weeks of each other in age! all are in the same soil, and all in smart pots, EXCEPT for one! that's in a sip pot! and it towers every other plant! the two hidden to the right of it, are the exact cuts taken at the exact same time! only difference is, my sip pot method, and the smart pot with top dressings and teas and just a shit ton of work!

I'll let yall figure out which ones in a sip... lol it ain't hard! but this will be my last round using any smart pots! going to veg in 1g plastic pots (or maybe a tad smaller) and once their big enough straight into the sips!
