You use our roads, our bridges and you at least went to public school until the 9th grade. The military protects you and regulators ensure the food supply is safe. You take from the government and I'm ok with that. Of course, cowards like you who can't admit they are Trumpkin Republicans and so make up a vague name that makes them feel edgy would never admit that they soak in money from the government even if you don't use SNAP.

Do prisons only have only 10% of their perimeter enclosed with a wall?

Instead of jumping to false logic, how about reviewing some facts first.

250 miles. 5 billion dollars for 250 miles out of 2000 miles of border with Mexico. That's about 20 million dollars per mile. The kind of wall (actually its a fence) you are talking about would cost more than 40 billion dollars and that wouldn't include the annual cost of protecting, maintaining and repairing it which would run in the billions. fact

Meanwhile, most illegal immigrants come to this country via airports. Most drugs are smuggled in via the border checkpoints, hidden in trucks or cargo containers. People seeking asylum mostly do so at the checkpoints too. fact

The 5 billion that Trump wants to borrow so that he can repair or replace fencing for slightly more than 10% of the border wouldn't make this country's border any more secure than if we didn't spend the money. Is that sound logic?

The country would be safer if Trump plowed 5 billion dollars into replacing lead pipes and other upgrades to the aging water delivery systems in this country.

and most of them will be state and federal charges.

I looked up the writer of the piece. Never heard of her. Nothing she said was either substantial or credible. Considering who she works for..

I looked up what this "McClatchyDC Commany", not "McClatchyDC Bureau"
