My current led light decided to quit on me just curious if a mars hydro 2 900 watt led would be big enough for my 4x2x5 grow tent ?

You could grow some cannabis with that light. The actual draw from the wall is about 370 watts according to what I read on the internet just now. Though, it might just break down on you like the last light. I use a vipraspectra 900, actual draw is about 425 from what I've heard, never tested myself. I'm going to use cob led or CMH lights when this one breaks down, if it does. So far so good with mine, 18/6 since last September. Sorry, that's my two cents.

Just googled it, over here its cost £330, looks like you can pick them up for $300 ish in USA.
Its enough light but not great quality.
You would be better going for this.

It may get hot. I have 900w of Viparspectra going in my tent that size. It gets 90f sometimes.
So the 300w is on a timer to run every other hour, during my 20/4 cycle. Also hi! I'm new.

It looks okay, but as temporal mentioned the LED lights are all misleading.
It is quite cheap for what it offers. Some bad reviews, so I would keep looking.
My lights have a bit to much blue, so I've modded the smaller one with more leds in the red spectrum.
900w does well for me in that size tent. Though really I'm sure it's much less at the wall.

Again its 400w which will be more than enough but its still a piece of shit and doesn't offer the best coverage considering your 2x4.
If your in Canada check out BCBlondes they do a good light for your space. Check out their shop and insta.
Go with something that's made with quality parts and will last you years and cost you less to run.
