I switched to MC a bit back after doing a comparison between MC, Advanced, GH Flora, Remo, and Nectar of the Gods. MC and Remo did the best, but MC is much easier to use. I am in the middle of a side-by-side grow comparing their old formula to the new one. GH wasn't far behind. NotG and Advanced would probably have done better had I been running soil, but I use DWC/RDWC.
I've used several different brands of nutrients and I've not seen not one brand that is miles ahead of any others. I've did side by sides and thought one outperformed the other and next time around have reverse results. I believe the type medium you use has a much bigger influence, and of course organic or synthetic and the style of grow. I think it all comes down to the ease of use and price nowadays. I still like GH just because that's pretty much what I started out on even though Jack's and MC are way cheaper

GH was what I was going to try, but then saw all the reviews/feedback on MC. Plus if they’ll supply me for a couple months free...even better.
No offense but, compost and amended teas in a good nutrient diverse medium will always be the way I choose to grow. I finally gave away the last of my bottled nutrients to a good home. I keep my sample pack of MC around in case of emergency because it seems to contain a broad spectrum of trace elements and not completely wreck my soil with salts

I do it all. I’m a tinkerer, always experimenting and running different things. Outside I go organic and KISS. While inside I run all sorts.

I just enjoy popping beans and watching plants grow. I throw bushes in the ground not for the buds, but I like how the plant grows and looks in the yard. I’ll shape em and bend them like bonsai trees. I enjoy everything about watching them grow...

I can relate, organic outside, hydro in. It's just a lot easier filling, draining and disposing containers of water/nutrient solution than soil, I guess that's why I prefer it indoors. I do a little bit if everything indoors though, including soil in fabric pots, I just prefer rdwc inside. I think the next nutes I buy will be MC but I'll always keep around GHs flora series.

When I mentioned going organic and starting a worm bin....I'm pretty sure I overheard her on the phone trying to retain a divorce attorney.
my wife is the same way, but she doesn't complain about my worm bin that I keep in the kitchen, it never stinks, and she doesn't even notice it! now this one time I used lady bugs... well she threatened to burn down everything if I ever did it again, it was over a year ago, and u still find lady bugs from time to time!

dispose of soil!!!!! I think I almost just died! lol true organic growers don't throw anything away! I've been using the same soil for 5 years, granted I've noticed this run that it has gotten out a wack, but it's an easy fix to get it tested and go from there, no point in throwing anything away! just add some compost, ewc, aeration, then test it again and cook in any amendments you need, if it's hot then just add those three things and it will take the levels down!

I've got three giant totes filled with soil, and I'll be using it for years!

lmfao, that's actually not true!

let me ask u a question, if you have flowering plants, how long can u go without even seeing the plants, and them still be alive and HEALTHY!

bc I can go about 3 weeks before I start to see negative affects! after 2 weeks they run out of water, a week later the actual soil would finally dry out!

I can literally show up once every two weeks, fill up the rez, DO NOTHING ELSE! and go to another country and come back 2 weeks later and repeat the same thing! if that's not lazy I don't know what is!

oh and yes its some fire ass smoke!View attachment 4269352
Yeah I do have to water them a bit more often, but my plants are kinda on the big side. I do believe in hand watering, being in the room daily, just going into my grow I could find a bulb out or something needing repair. The more lights you have the greater the odds of a bulb going out. I must say it would be nice to go on a long vacation. lol

you hydro guys, have to do tons of measuring, and ph, buying nutes, praying that your pumps and chillers and stuff don't go out, bc if a pump goes out and your at the beach for a few days you come back to dead and trash crop! and u call what I do a lot of work! lmfao that's funny!

the hardest thing I have to do, is harvest my worm castings, which I could buy for less than just about any one of the hundreds of bottles of crap yall have to buy!

what I'm doing now with probiotics, and using sip pots, I could grow(if space and money allowed) thousands of plants with maybe a 2 man crew! once the soil is mixed, cooked and in the sip pots, the only thing left to do for entire, 3month-8month grow, would be filling the rez every 2 weeks( which takes maybe 1 min tops per plant) and if you so choose but not nessasary, ur normal duties like defloil. or maybe a foliar spray if you so choose!

big side, lol I'm growing a single plant in a 4x4 area! it doesn't get much bigger than that for growing indoor!CM190119-062921006.jpg

check this out man, i have been working on this for years, amd chanhed alot along the way! i would for sure consider this a more advanced version on going organic, but if you had the cash to diy the sips, and purchased living soil already mixed and rdy from buildasoil. com you could literally make an amazing entire first run and not have to know a dam thing about organics, until your second run when you have to learn about recycling soil and cooking it!
