i say we lay off those who may be guilty of misdemeanor border crossings and go after much bigger federal crimes, like felony cultivation of schedue 1 controlled substances

after all, what you're against is the illegality, ain't that right ya illegal rat?
You didn't specifically answer my question. If you support SNAP then why aren't you opposing the people who are trying to take it down? Same with Medicare, same with Social Security. Same with Public Education. The party you support are trying to cut those programs at every chance they get.

The problem with public education today has been studied pretty well. We need smaller classes (more teachers), better teacher pay and a budget for school supplies and up-to-date text books, in some places, the schools are underheated in the winter. In others the roofs leak. We are underfunding education in the US. No wonder you don't like the result. Do you actually think that less money is the answer? If more efficiency is the answer then why aren't Republicans working on that instead they are taking money away from schools.

Also, cite your source that breaks down the claim that "75% of our welfare money never goes to people in need" .

Are you saying that visits to the hospital or the doctor are too expensive? Are you saying that the cost of pharmaceuticals is too high? Are you saying the medical system is too expensive? If that's what you are saying then again you are castigating the wrong side. Republicans have made costs rise faster compared to just a few years ago. Obamacare held down costs and Republicans broke it.

We don't even have "welfare".. In which programs are you saying this leakage happens?

Studies done by people who support confiscatory funded government schools to determine "the problem with education" is akin to police doing an internal investigation and declaring their brethren innocent.

The problem with "public education" is, it lacks the customer feedback mechanisms / competition that would occur in a free society. Not to mention its primary purpose isn't teaching people how to think, rather the purpose is telling people what to think eh Comrade?

The increase in Child tax credit is up from $1000 to $2000 per child. That is real money for middle America.

that almost 10 point defeat you just suffered in the midterms shows that no one is really feeling it.

but i bet the billionaires are enjoying their private jet tax deductions

Oh hi

Would you post some links that describe in detail the changes you would make to our public education system so that we could both cut education cost and improve it at the same time? Also I'm wondering how we can get new textbooks, you know, ones that don't end with Bill Clinton in the White House when we cut school budgets.
