Fixing root rot: Hydroguard v Southern Ag Garden Friendly Fungicide

I didn't think so. Just figured I'd ask before spending more money on a pesticide now.

Is there any access to your roots? Are they exposed to bugs can go in and eat/reproduce ?

Depending what medium ur using, a piece of plastic or dry layer of something like pool filter sand

Hydro. I've used Gnatrol plenty of times and always had good success with it.

Since we're on the topic, can I use an organic pesticide like "Gnatrol" and the SAG at the same time? Or will one kill the other?

the sag will be for your root zone and the pesticide would be whatever's above ground, right?

Well they're Gnats so roots are what they go after mainly, I think. I suspect that that's how I got root rot in the first place. Little fuckers.

Yeah your in hydro so sag you need to use every week for it to work.

Once slime gets in its harder to fix than if you prevent it from the get go.

Id use sag every week . And if it doesnt work up your dose a bit , do you currently have root rot?

And i think your safe to use these together . Theres lots of products that contain multiple baccillus strains .

With sag if you over do it you can get a bloom of brown algae but its not super bad ..

Its not stinky and fucked like the normal algae you get with root rot.

Even if you keep it around 1ml per 15 gal, your still going to notice some brown on the roots /system.

Its fine dont lose your mind over it. If your a clean freak and need the roots to be white just get hydroguard they must filter it a few more times or some shit not sure . But either way sags little bit of slime isnt bad for plants . But if your not used to it it might be a little shock haha

did not know that. never had those before (knocks on wood). only mites which are hard as hell to get rid of too especially in late flower. those buds snapped, crackled and popped when you smoked them.

That's NOT "Brown Algae" It's the bacterial colony from the SAG. They do multiply.

i usually do 1mL per waterfarm which holds 2 gal. but i forgot , so i gave them a double dose this week.

you really can't overdose with sag. if there is nothing to eat the bacteria just die off

So if I go 2ml per 10 gallons is that enough than? Sounds like you're using more.

Sorry for all the questions. I just want to really make sure I'm using this stuff right when it gets here. Can't afford anymore set backs.

since you have rot already, if i were you i'd do something like this and see what happens:

2mL every other day for a week. if after dose #3 you don't see results up it to 3mL.

once you get rid of it, 1mL once a week should be plenty
