First I want to say sorry for posting this twice but I noticed this post should have gone here and not replied in my thread but here it is..

I just finished reading your journal and having read that after reading stinkbud's journal I have to say I'm feeling like a noob all over again, lol I am defiantly going to figure out how to use both systems as they both have the traits I'm looking for as far as work load and yield potential.

I do have some questions for you on that stadium setup tho, I noticed your bulbs were hanging vert and were exposed, did you experince any burn to your plants from the lights hanging that way, did the bottom row stretch? and once the top row gets to growing do you move the light up or down? i'm guessing down cause if you went up the bottom row would defianly stretch rite? and could you use cool tubes on the lights using that setup, and if so would you decrease the walkway, by how much? were your lights on a system to raise and lower, what did you use? Im going to build 2 tents for each room (8 x 8, an 10x10)but only have one rack in the veg room, to leave room for mammas.

and if anyone that subscribed to hbr's journal has designed some plans based on the stadium and an stinkbud's aero please fill me in, I am almost certain at this point that I want to do this hybrid sog stadium/aero using 4oo mh and floros for the veg, and 2 lk hps for bloom.

just off the top of my head I see it like this:
mammas under the 400, an aero cloner using the net cups and tops, transfer clones to 1gal bags with rocks (wash net cups to use again) to stadium rack shelves being some sort of gutter or channel that the bags can sit in and flood the gutter for 4 times a day?(<-help here) using floros over each shelve during veg growth(<-suggestions here welcome)

continue stadium setup in bloom, 2 racks 10' long and (<-what should my shelve spacing be here? and how many shelves per rack) with a 24" walkway?
shelves are gutters using same flood method to feed (I dont want to mix nutes and hand water every day! dont mind the extra work up front to make it more automated ) 2 1k, with cool tubes (<- is this even a good idea with a stadium setup?) and co2.

hey man,..im mad tired but we have been going back and forth hrb,thunder, me for the last few pages on differnet designs..i ended up making on out of concrete blocks and 2 by 8 s..as for automated..you can still make the stadium auto by adding a 500 gmh pump...4 ten foot polly 1 inch lines going through the sides and then .30 each drip stakes... all you would have to do is run the water every 2 to 3 days... until they start to pee then your good... as for for runoff.. i have seen some roofing materal people have used..comes in like 10 foot sections with a inch raised lip on the sides...use that as a gutter ot colect your runoff and you can use also any setup .... hydro with coco..that would be the shit..or gro rocks..or fuck it ...even rockwool slabs..dam i just got an idea...run rockwool slabs done the sides with like 3 drippers per section...and open up the bottoms .. but then your going to be using a shit load of rockwool or hydroton....
id say the best in one gallon plasic pots with soil and drippers..with channels to colect the run off...put a time one either a little bit everyday or soke them heavy every 2 to 3 days and you will be good..

I was thinking of getting a small 4x4 tent for mamas..
I was thinking to keep 4-6 moms in 3 gal or 5 gal
I need to have cuts ready in a month,I currently have 24 og kush moms in 1 gals
Should i just build a tent in my flowerroom? Im stuck here...broke but was leaning twards the ez clone 12o or botanicare 165 but its a grip
I could try to build it but im a tool and couldnt see how to do one that big....Help!

The ezcloners are badass, I've seen several guys making them lately with great results. https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/116859-harvest-pound-every-three-weeks.html There are some real good instructions in this thread, and on the last 2-3 pages there is an example of what would be a great set up for you I think HBR.

I've got it man!! cycle it. could you use your spare room as a veg room, and mother room. Take 1/3, or 1/4 the capacity of your flower room every 2-3 weeks(I can't remember how long you left them in veg for) worth of clones, veg them for that amount of time, then move to your flower room. By the time you fill your flower room, it will be time to harvest the the first ones that you moved in, and you can be ready to fill their place. Hehe you'll be harvesting 1-2 times a month, every month.

hey man....the 5.5 $ jiffy trays that do 72 always work..i get a 98 percent clone rate..i even used them in my GI grow cus i got soo fed up with rockwool.... if you need to have cuts ready in a month with 24 plants..u could build a mini staduim like i did..or is that what your other garden is? in the pic... i did that and i got over 250 cuts with 26...

as for monthers..id say a 4 by 2 hydro hut with 15 plants in there would be good..thats what a guy out west runs and he has a warehouse with 15 rotogrows.... 15 plants in a hydro setup...eb and flow..says it would push out 300 to 400 clones easy.... but make sure if your going to be making mums that you trim them right to promote new starts...and even soo if you cant take cuts for a run..u may even have to lawn mow them down soo they stay small and bushy... or always have another room that is vegging soo you can take cuts from it..like say if you had 3 stadiums .... top them all to get new cuts for the second one and vise versa..you will never have to ha ave huge veg room..just a small handfull of a colection of your different plants under some 5ts soo if case somthing gets fucked you you can always restart...


also what lights are you running in your stadium now? i have to pick up two more 1000s... either going with 2 mH and 1 Hps or 1 Hps and 2 MH...what do you think would be best?

I have 2hps and 1 mh,hps are sweet but mh adds a lil boof too it
I just got another tent 4x4 for mamas and that sounds like a plan to put the momas in the spare room.There in that room im flowering the tent full of og on the stadium and i could have momas in there with those or throw em in the main stadium flower room.
Gotta see what my temps are with the 3 lights on in there first...
i wish i could have it al in one room ...i got some cleaning to do then were going campin with the new tent

hey headband, how many 1gal bags do you get on the shelves? if your racks are 8' apart and your shelf is 10' with a foot hanging off each end arent you just using 8' shelfs? either way how many bags per shelf?

Man those portables are pricy, I've looked into them a couple times during my last grow, I needed it bad. I just couldn't wrap my head, or wallet around the price of them.

I was gona build one but these but the dr12o look like a vocal booth and i record music!
They are conveniant to say the least...i payed 2oo bux for my new 1
I am paranoid about bugs gettin there and smell getting out and these tents seem to stop both.
Just handy and colapseable-but yea im so fukin broke right now its not funny,and a mother room was needed and i would like to try it out in several places so bit the bullet...I realy want a botanicare 165 cloner but the pricetag on that is stupid.

So that got me looking for a way to maximize space and build one
I thought of using the big runner maid with rubber homade rubber top,plexiglass top
basically anything i can cut a zillion holes in and will support the 2"net pots and not leak....garbage cans have good lids and they are flat but too tall....
Maybe a hmoade wood box lined with pond liner,any other ideas {remember the goal is 2oo plus clones} I dont eat well but by plants are happy as shit!

I think you might have a problem with leakage on the wooden box, maybe not. They make some pretty big rubbermade containers. If you got a container atleast 25"x 15", you should be able to fit 50 2". Then use 2 of those, or three if you really want to. They also make ones that are like 3-4 feet long I think.

Sweet my friend is gona get a ez cloner and leave it at my casa,its on
Tried the pr og kush and it was very heavy but diff than what i expected,it was all purpled up,but finshed in 7 weeks!
So the 4x4 tent is now in the main flower room and will house the moms/clones
I transplanted some of the pr og into 3gal and 2gal bags in the stadiumtent
and looks like 2 gals are the way to go 3s are huge but ill run 1 3g this time just to see the diff.
I will throw up some shots here in a min of all 3 areas {clones and moms need to be floramited before entering the whorehouse}
in the mom tent Im thinking about 4 level metal shelfs with w 2floros on each with moms under those
and cloner on the right under t5 4 bulb

My temps 82 in the flower room as is,
and today is a hot ass day,You guys think another 4oo would add 5 degrees more/less?
Buds are lookin frosty but i do think i should have pruned less undergrowth,its eaisier to manage but i feel will effect yield a bit>I did 1/3 on some 2/3 on some and 1/2 on a few,1/3 looks best{would be larf would be nug!}

I decided to deal with my runoff problem today,got 2 x 8ft roofing pieces that will catch runoff
Heres a few shots,this would be nice if drippers are ever added.
Caught a 1ooo mh to the arm tonight,it been 2o mins and my arms still on fire!
I prefer to water from behind each rack,its much easier if you guys can leave yourself a bit of space around the stadium you will be happy campers if watering by hand.
I floramited all moms,and clones...get ready og
I still havent flipped my tent to 12/12 yet !

its so funny you mention that watering from behind would be better, after designing my room layout I too figured that I would be better off watering from behind since I would have 2' behind each staduim to work with. and I figured the hanging lights could be a problem for moving around and you were rite! put some butter on that burn! sorry dude couldnt help it. Im still a few months off from building my bloom room, but I built my aero cloner last nite, and its dope works just like they say, cheap and easy to build, just hard to find the right timer around here! pic to come
