Gorilla glue #4 - (First Grow Ever) - HELP

Yes digs thread is great but I mixed the two threads together, I got it straight now

Everything looks okay, leave them alone and let them grow! Even that one wanky plant is coming back fine

You should stop feeding nutes because that soil is very nutrient heavy already, it's not going to make them grow faster or bigger it's only going to cause problems.

Also find a way to accurately adjust your pH to 6.5 in every single thing you feed, as soil will only buffer pH in larger pots (example 7-10 gallon), adding Dolomite lime as directed will help the soil buffer.

I use and recommend Apera meters, very reasonably priced, extremely accurate & very easy to calibrate

Thanks ! I use a blue lab PH meter now. Should I buy a soil meter as well? Or just test the run off?

No more nutes for awhile. :)

Should I leave them in the 1 gallon pots? Also in two weeks when I start up the Fox Farm Grill schedule again do I start on which week I am really in or start from where I left off?

regarding leaving them in a 1 gallon pots, id say yes leave them for at least 7-10 days as they will more more manageable for you, and it will be harder to over water, and for sure they would require some more watering frequency which will make you more happy and excited to do,

regarding the nutes, even after you transplant, as they guys just said, FFOF has allot of nutes, so they would take 15 or more days after transplant to consume all the nutes already in the soil.

(nearing the end of veg week 2)

Things are looking good! Starting to grow strong again!
good job things are looking great, plants are happy, actually plants grow the most when the pots half wet half dry, good job for not feeding or over watering, if you check them daily, wait till the plants tell you when to water, leafs will drop a bit and the post will feel so light, this will create a shock for the roots to seek for moisture and this will make the roots grow big, and all this will work for your benefit as the roots are the heart of plants, bigger roots the faster the plant will grow.

in the next 10 days your plants will double or triple in size if you keep things right, at this stage you would transplant.

whats your plans ? Scrog, Sog ?

I am planning to Scrog but this is my first time so we will see how this goes.

I was planning on transplanting next Friday. Should I do it sooner?

Also last week I started to spray the leafs and that seems to help as well anyone else do that?

thats a good choice, and it will help you allot, to create an even canapy.

No dont do it any time sooner, and don't give nutes 10-15 days after the transplant.

spraying with RO water is fine, make sure not to over do it(dont spray when light are on as the water drops will create a lens that will burn ur plants ), spraying with nutes is an easy way to burn your plants if PPM is more than than 250-300. I have burned many plants by spraying so i skip that for now.

Day 40 From seed
(Week 3 of veg)

Over the weekend I topped and took some leafs away that where starving the rest of the plant and it has bounced back in a great way! We have some really good color and growth. Also added the following.

-Started CO2 bag
-Added big fan
-Did a feed of nutes 1/4 strength

This Friday I will be transplanting these girls from there 1 gallon pots to the new 5 Gallon pots. Things should tick up a notch within the next 2-3 weeks! I will post pictures of the transplanting and aftermath.

Comment welcome friends ! Thanks for stopping by.

When should I add the scrog net? Right before I flip to 12/12? Also how high above the bud sites should I put the net?

As also thanks for the help brotha.

Set the net 8-10 inches above the top of your pots ideally... then start tucking

You want the net installed a bit before you flip just so you can make sure you fill the screen 60-70%

The stretch will take care of the rest

Go over to growweedeasy and read LBH scrog tutorial, every bit of scrogging info you need is in that Article

Plants are looking good bud, best of luck the rest of the way

Day 42

Quick update I have been pretty busy this week with work. But staying up on my plants at night making sure to do all my LST and getting them ready for the Scrog.

Watering schedule has been pretty consistent with every 3rd day water plans like this a lot more then what I was going before.

Have a look on u tube youll see how high others have done it.you have a big tent, whats the overall plan?

I have watched a ton of videos and have a lot of good ideas now. I purchased a Scrog net from grow ace. Monday coming up starts week for a veg I think I’m going to veg them for five weeks just to give them an extra boost. At the end of week four or middle of week four I plan on transplanting from 1 gallon pots to 5 gallon pots then week after that start flower. Also that week add the Scrog

Day 46 from seed
Week 4 of Veg

Transplanted all of them last night and got them a small watering and foil spray. Seems to be handling the transplant nicely. Everything is looking good so far!

Going to do another 2 weeks of veg after this week for a total of 6 weeks in veg. Should make for some strong beefy plants!!!

Temps stay right at 76 all day and drop down to about 68 at night sometimes it will dip around 64 the last few nights due to weather in Michigan. Got the CO2 bag going still and around 60% RH

Every other day I am doing LST

Scrog net will be installed next weekend. Also next weekend I plan on adding some side lights.

Thoughts so far?
