What about alternated diodes. 27,35,27,35,27,35,660,27,35,27,35,27,35,660,27,35,27,35,27,35,660

Edit: or better yet swap out the 35s for 4ks

Gorgeous!! Say more about your setup please?
Looking at a 4x8 with 2 650w fixture each with 16 of PLC's Photo Boost Strips powered by 4 meanwell HLG320's(2 per fixture). The PLC Strips rock samsung 301b whites and cree xp-e HE photo reds. The left side fixtures boards are modified to be all white with xpg3's so that a semi comparison can be ran to show some of the differences of added red vs a pure white SPD.
The run consists of 18 clones(9 per side) vegged 21 days before flip.

With your hints I found https://www.pacificlightconcepts.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/photo-boost-DIY-PDF.pdf which is PERFECT! Of course the strips are out of stock  Any suggestions? I built the Bridgelux 3x3 diy from ledgardener so $27 per seems like a shit ton per strip but the plants seem pretty ecstatic about the whole deal. Help convince me!

What's going on under the canopy if I may ask? Nutrients, media, etc?bongsmilie.

Edit: almost wish this was an older thread I was catching up on so I could know how the red vs white only comparison ends up!

As I am sure @Stephenj37826 can attest, I wouldn’t get my hopes too high on price with the photo/far reds. They are pricey. Not sure about Samsung’s far reds, but the last build I did, the Cree ones ran me about $1.45 a diode.

Glad to see so many companies releasing red-enhanced strips. The community has been wanting this for quite a while. I look forward to someone doing a comparison of Atreum's, HLG's, and PLC's. Personally, I think Atreum has a shot at the title, popularity-wise - $1/watt, already heatsinked and ready to frame, and they boast a higher ratio of red. (Though who knows what the best ratio is? I haven't seen any data on that yet. Still, I imagine the consumers will gravitate to "more".) Then again, we have yet to see what HLG has in store. However it shakes out, it's win for the builders/growers.

Atreum has 2ft strips. atreumlighting.com/collections/led-components/products/ara-20-led-light-bar
$60 per strip? I'll make a bigger closet. Sure makes the $27 I was whining about for the 4' seem like a bargain

I run the same reds all through flower. It helps yield some, and helps tremendously with trich production. I've run both with and without HE photo reds. And I prefer the added reds over not.
