Rule 81.67B: phosphorus on LEDs must be oriented within six degrees of the starting orientation and must be within 631 miles of where it was mined.Dear,
@The Dawg
I have my qb288 horizontally over the plant.
It is 17" tall and will likely stretch for a bit longer.
Am I allowed to disconnect two chains from the QB an allow it to hang vertically?
Sincerely,
Festering Ass Pimple
I'm changing over to all coco. And I'm loving it. The growth rate I'd amazing.... I mix 1 to 1 ratio with big coarse perlite.Cocos a bitch to master imho. I took me a year of going to all other forums and spending hours and hours taking notes on the coco sections. If you figure out coco you will not be disappointed. I would give yall coco growers advice but I need to secure the number one spot LOL.
Hahaha this is great.Rule 81.67B: phosphorus on LEDs must be oriented writhing six degrees of the starting orientation and must be within 631 miles of where it was mined.
Man it blows my mind the price of the lights and to have those junkies heatsinks.PSA
How to dim an Amare solarspec or similar.

Wire in parallel. Dimmed by ~50%, could dim cobs an additional 50%.
You're prob use to finishing prematurely anyway. So you're good. LolHey but now we have a bit of clarity.
All my plants where there though, not like hybrid trying to swap stuff out.
I just miss declare prematurely, we know you know how it feels to do things prematurely
Unless @Thegermling kills his you’re fighting for 2nd...Well after seeing everyones cupdates. You all dont have a chance in hell. I wasnt gonna top mine one and only seed to germ. But I did. And shes gonna yield about a #. Wait till you see my cupdate tomorrow. She exploded with growth. Shes loving the power of Samsung.
His plants dont scare me at all. Hes way ahead in days as well. I'm running a strain that's known to yield huge fukn greasey nugs.Unless @Thegermling kills his you’re fighting for 2nd...
I on the other hand would be thrilled to finish in top 10...
know; at least it didn't matter last year; the biggest thing is to have your plant healthy without deficiency through the whole runHis plants dont scare me at all. Hes way ahead in days as well. I'm running a strain that's known to yield huge fukn greasey nugs.

Ugly? Yes.Man it blows my mind the price of the lights and to have those junkies heatsinks.
Yupp! These heatsinks have still enough headroom to drive COB's and mono's even harder. But he thing I miss in the older Amare's is a simple dimmer! Veg and bloom switch is not enough IMO cause of the narrow lenses they need much more distance. I would maybe change them against 120° lenses to reduce the hotspots and be able to use them with less hanging height. You would still get the same amount of light and intensity but better distribution and color mixing.Ugly? Yes.
Junky? Not the word I would use.
You (and I) diy so talking price is kinda irrelivant.
I imagine it has to do with how hard the cobs are pushed, copper handels heat well but doesn't machine like aluminium.
Yupp, I can not like this post enough! Last years winner has made a great metamorphosis from the crappiest looking seedling I've ever seen and it ended up as a nice and healthy victory covered in buds.Yield really isn't counted in the final vote last I

Well then I've already won. LolDon't forget "Style points" and lot's of shit talking
They jus look cheaply made. I guess that wouldve been a better word to use. Dont get me wrong. I'm not dogging them at all. I just eouldve went a different route heatsink wise. Ida used titanium and a flux capacitor at 1.21 gigawatts. LolUgly? Yes.
