I just watched the Mr. Extractor video on the flavorless dilutant they sell (well, as much of it as I could, that guy is more wordy than me...).
Anyway, in the video he admits that the dilutant is not a terpene.
They also say "there is no smell" like 100 times.
So considering their prices, I would complain.
The secrecy reminds me of this metal cutting lubricant that has been sold since the 1950's or so.
The company refuses to disclose what it is made of, yet they insist it is all natural and non-toxic.
Some years back someone had the oil tested and it closely matched the profile for jojoba oil. Further testing revealed that it matched jojoba oil with the pigment removed.
Prior to the test results becoming public the price for this cutting oil was outrageously high...
As soon as this test came out, the price dropped to the point where it cost as much as jojoba oil.
Coincidence?
I have a feeling this stuff is like that, just some regular product that has been modified slightly and they can't let it out because of how easily (and cheaply) it can be reproduced.

The Mr Extractor flavorless came out way better then the Mass Terpenes liquifier. I had a buddy try it that buys Co2 carts from dispensary that have no additives and go for crazy prices and he said mine tasted like them and was as potent. I don't know how the cart will perform for its entire use yet since I didn't run it through a filter. I tried through a .22 filter but I think it's to thick to push through with my ratio of rosin to liquifer. I used .5gram of dry sift gg4 rosin mixed with .15ml liquifier. I heated it for 20 minutes at 170f then pulled it back into syringe to mix it up then put back in mixing glass container for 5 minutes at 170f before filling cart.

Nice man that will defiantly have cart appeal. Finally got through the whole thread as i am starting down the cart road. A lot of knowledgeable folks contributing as well. And for all doing the experimenting THANK YOU. GoGo are you still filtering with the .22 mic filters or have you started winterizing your rosin?

Thanks Go go, The winterizing part is confusing to me . Can this be accomplished with a normal household freezer? Do you know of any info or links that could clear up that step for me?

I can't get my rosin/liquifier mix to run through a filter. I have .22 and .45 filters and cant get a single drop out of them. Im guessing its because of my ratio. I just made cookie wreck with 1 gram dry sift rosin with .3ml liquifier, I like it to be as potent as possible like im dabbing. Last cart i made with similar ratio is still hitting and it's almost gone and I didn't run it through filter but every once in awhile doesn't give a good hit and I have to blow through it then it hits good again.
Any pointers on using filters or another method of filtering be much appreciated!

I have a juice that mixes strong like that too, I've resorted to using cotton from a q tip like a junkie, lol. My product is fairly clean though, I'm not sure how that would work with something like bho.

Yeah man I don’t believe your stuffs going to filter through those little syringe cartridges Plus if you are using the syringe cartridges that the filter membrane is made of PTFE it’s going to be harder to do
The membranes made of PES yes a little bit more manageable I just did post the other night and the PES was much easier

Yep that's what I'm using, PTFE filters. I'm going to try to DIY some kind of filter, I'll let you guys know what I come up with.

Hey Chris, quick question for you if you don't mind. I am just getting into concentrates so i don't know a whole lot about them. I tried vaping some shatter recently and it seemed like it had similar characteristics to hash were it is kinda lung expanding. It was just to hard on my lungs( old age former cig smoker). My question to you is does pressed resin have that same caracteristic. I don't have any trouble vaping oil or flower.

Gonna poke my nose in here, and listen to what he says too. He seems like a pretty pretty smart dude..... It could be the strain, it could be the way the extract was made. If you get a chance try an extract like live resin or live rosin. Any extraction that involves the separation of resin heads, that's where it starts getting tasty and smooth.

@macsnax is live rosin the same as pressed flower. My pen i used has a double quarts coil i be leave. I could not even take small hits on the lowest setting of that shatter. I have a press that have not used yet but will be soon. I do not have the same problem with oil carts

Yeah live rosin is considered to be pressed bubble hash or pressed live flowers. There's also dry sifting (static tech) then press the heads you collect. If you have sift screens and a DVD case, you're set. I'm actually looking at making some screens soon. Must be that point of winter where cabin fever is getting to me. I'm currently working on building two seeds cleaners right now.

That's what i do @macsnax . The sell the wood frames for tee shirt printing on e-bay cheap. Just buy some bulk silkscreen in whatever micron you chose. Stretch it and staple to the frame. It is so cheap i replace the screening after every round. Yup i know the winter blue's thing.

Yup I like my sift. It's fairly easy once you figure it out and you can do so much with it.
