Theyre so ridiculously over priced compared to similar options so I wrote them off when I realized that a few weeks ago.Has anyone fired up any of these strips yet?

I like these. Not everybody wants to drill a load of metal and do all the wiring. Having a light engine predone with the 2020 mounts and wiring is something ive been working on myself for a long time. Its far from a bit of angle bar and some thermal tape.
Im sure this data will be provided.
Too expensive because of the heat sinks and pmma cover, I would rather take bare strips for half the price.
XP-E's are also outdated, there are already XP-E2's or even better Osram Square series diodes.
And even in the datasheets there are no μMol/J(efficiency) or PPF numbers(total light produced)
Such PAR maps look nice but they say nothing. No one would use only one bar.
He could have added these numbers easily so why he hasn't?
You can get single row Samsung strips for ~18$US, 50cm, 98 LM301b's, 21v/2,8A max current and with two of them you have already 76 more diodes compared to an ARA20 and still 23 bucks left to add a few Osran Square series deep-reds(8 are 24$). If the deepreds get 700mA max and the strips run with 2,8A you would have ~127w!
Dimmed down to 60w they would blow these Ara20's out of the water.
He should make them available without heat sinks and pmma covers to lower the price. 30$US/39CAD would be a reasonable price point and one could use 4-8 of them to mount them on something like this..

One could add additional U-channels on the back side to increase the cooling surface but such a sheet can handle 200w without them.
There are at least a few missing data a grower need to know:

With these data and without the unwanted stuff they are pretty nice even if the XP-E's are not the latest.

Square10 is the cheapest(2,79€), I've ordered 16mm stars(2,99€)

They have also the strips I've mentioned above but it's a german shop. You would pay 19% less(german VAT) but you have to add shipping costs and custom fees depending on your local laws. Have you searched Digikey or Arrow? Rapidled could also have them. They are available since a while...

When you decide to order them from LED-tech.de they have a day trade offer. Activate it, enter your desired price and get notified when the price reach the desired range. These are friendly and reputable guys there and they'll make you a good deal if you take their Samsung strips and some Square series diodes.
The strips cost ~12€ without VAT, have 98 LM301b diodes, max. out at ~57w and still deliver +9,900lm.
A comparable H-influx strip made directly by Sammy would be L06, 88 diodes, max. out at 53w and delivering ~8,600lm but they cost twice as much. So even if you have to pay shipping + VAT/customs fees they are still cheaper like Samsungs H-influx series and they outperform them too.
There is a chat-window on their website only have a look at the local time. You can also email them to ask what you need to know before you place your order. I'm pretty sure they will send them for free with a high enough order.
I'm already thinking about ordering 20pcs myself, 16x 3500°k + 4x 6500°k, 40pcs Osram Square deep-reds and 8 Osram Oslon far-reds to create two separate 200w fixtures with the two alu-sheets posted above.
An HLG-150H-20B for each 10 strips in parallel(8+2 ww/cw) and a small PLM-35-700 to drive 20 Square series hyperreds(same as deep-red) and 4 Osram Oslon far-red's(horti series are the best) in series.
Would be 160-165w in white(~4000°k) and ~35-40w as Emerson deep-/far-red booster you could use in the flowering stage.
Probably a ~3500°k spectrum in CRI90. You could also use an HLG-40H-54B for the deep- and far-reds if you like to have them dimmable too, max. current ~750mA. Costs only a 10er more compared to a PLM-35. And don't worry about is constant voltage, it's a CV/CC driver and with less than 54v he would switch anyway in constant current mode.
You can also use only 3500°k strips and add some deep-red to get a 3000°k spectrum with CRI90. 3500°k veg almost the same like 4000°k, but 3000°k is the best yielder. If you have a separate veg area I would go the 3000°k/CRI90 route, if you veg and flower in the same tent the 3500°k/CRI90 combo fits a bit better.
Yeah these strips are too much. Price drove me away. HLG is getting on the strip bandwagon so Im saving my dough for when they release some.
So their Max current is 200MA X however many 7diode lengths there are?The ones I've linked above cost only half as much as Samsung H-influx L06, have 10 diodes more and can run with up to 60w each(2,8A max. current). At 1050mA each 3500°k strip needs around 20w and still deliver 191lm/w and they are only 20" long which is interesting for 3x 3' tents. Each strip has 14 separated modules a 7 diodes which means you can cut them if you need a certain length. And you can drive them with up to 2amps without heatsinks. They have added a flir cam shot and with 25°C ambient and 2amps drive current (~40w) the strips stabilze at ~53°C. Without german VAT they cost only 12-13$ and even if you have to add shipping and custom fees they are much cheaper compared to Samsung H-influx strips. It currently the most interesting strip; I only wish they would be available in more than only two spectrums. 3500 and 6500°k is okay but I would rather see 3000 and 4000°k.

I don't get it.No, the voltage is the same for each module and the modules are all connected in parallel. 14 modules á 200mA = 2,8amps per strip. 7s14p circuit layout. L06 has 8s11p circuits, 2,2A max. but is not cutable. It's also a lower voltage bin which means the diodes are more efficient compared to H-influx diodes.
Max. current of each I call them Zeus strip* is 2,8amps and they take 20,21v at 2,8A.
At 350mA they need ~18,7v and each module takes 25mA.
All these voltage, flux, watt and efficiency numbers are available on their website.
* Their boards are called Zeus boards..
200mA is too high for a segment. About 70mA is ok. Should be very efficient. I have a similar board that has 8 LED's per segment to increase the voltage closer to 24V. It's designed for Nichia rather than Samsung though and can have resistors placed for constant voltage operation or just 0ohm for constant currentI don't get it.
